Or it's an April Fools! Dunno. The timing is highly suspicious -- But at the same time, I could see someone at the office going, "Ah screwit, Monday's crew can handle this," and then just clicking the "DISABLE" button on someone's account before clocking out.  |

With a new US$11 million investment, maybe LL decided that they no longer needed to dance with a devil that required them to overlook things, be overly flexible with, or change the TOS to accomodate their actions? After all when needs must, all businesses get themselves into situations and arrangements they're not comfortable with. But needs don't must as much now. Or it's an April Fools! I still can't see it being a joke..for reasons previously stated plus..the vast majority of SL residents don't really read this forum well. Ergo, the majority of her residents who might hear about this are possibly going to wind up in a panic. This kind of a joke wold not fade, rather, in the long run it would hurt her business, which of course is probably going to happen anyway in a big way, since now, with this kind of publicity a lot are going to see it as unstable. Not saying I presonally do or will, however humans tend to be somewhat like...Lord what is that animal....the ones who go mad due to population pressure and tend to migrate off cliffs together in Alaska I think. One jumps of a cliff they tend to follow. |

Yeah I figured that much on my own, I was just telling Dimitri that it would be possible to purchase a cornfield. really had nothing to do with the thread topic... not really and gosh what a swell cornfield that looks like too |

My reference to Philip was entirely my own. Sorry, I don't buy it. This is not the kind of joke a business owner would play. It is too costly to the reputation in the short and long runs. A -very- bad idea for a joke. |

But still, not being able to cover your account in 37 days before cancellation. Perhaps you overextended yourself buying those sims. A good rule of business is to diversify and not pull all your proverbial eggs in one basket. |
