I'm not going to be made to feel bad by some people on the forum quoting things that happened ages before I got on board. (And something which some of them have doubtless done themselves.)

When I decried the lack of First Land, and people glomming it up before newbies could get their "First" Land - i.e., me - I meant the ones that were getting the pile of reports in the Police Blotter, or land dealers buying it up with alts that they then delete.

I never for a minute thought it meant that if I ever got a second account - a REAL permanent second account - and bought First Land with it - that I would be considered "gaming the system" unethically.

But you know, it gets tiresome saying that over and over.

What the heck does this prove about anything you have said? I joined in Sept of 2003 (after this newsletter), and land tiers did not even come about until many months after I had joined (land for the landless even later). I'm confused why you would use this newsletter as evidence of anything. Is there a particular statement in there I'm missing?
