Well, I agree, it was a bit of hyperbole and people can question the accuracy of my statements, but I think groups are fair game in SL and there is nothing 'ugly' about that.
I think the problem started getting personal when people were pointing their statements directly at individuals.

Blaze, The photographs are of four people - those people, along with Jimmy Thomson were being commented on. Simply because it was done at times as a group reference does not make it any less personal. Bedazzle is a player run project involving individuals - comments made about the group, especially in the context here, are quite personal.

Well, Chris, that is where I disagree. I believe once you form a group, especially a public group, you enter into fair game where your motives can be discussed and questioned publically.
Am I right about this? I don't know.. but I intuitively feel that's the right attitude to take.
There is something about group-think and group-mentality that deserves to be vulnerable to the questioning by individuals.
