From: Schoktra Black Could I have a link to some of his more strange posts? I've been searching on google and I think Zack or Joel may have ADD and multi personalities with a mix of depression. Which is an unhead of basicly.
So his case is strange but maybe older posts could tell me something. Maybe give me some of his lie posts and his comments on what he has done in the past. Maybe some regrets or something along those lines. Well I read the first 2. I think he is deeply depressed. He feels he needs to make up lies for people to like him. The Kool Zuma posts I read earlier seem to say alot. That was a younger personality that had the knowledge of a child. I don't know what to make of most of it. The switching from Second Life forums to There forums and then back to Second Life forums seem to suggest ADD. Then the grammer being bad here but getting better on that forum suggest multi personalities. And then the lies, those suggest some sort of depression. He feels the need to lie to make up for mistakes in the past I would think. Its hard to tell what is going on in his mind. But I still would need more to look at. Maybe more posts will help. |

Do you have any info on his everyday life. Has he ever mentioned family or friends. Something like that? The blog tells me he has a deep passion for There. I guess it is a life replacment, maybe he has none at all.
I read something about him having a company. The member Christopher said he was going to apply for Service Development. He has a thing about being number one and being successful. That explains why he said he had a PhD and the reason he started that Therian Media website.
I really have no idea what to say. I am stunned and shocked. I don't know why it wasn't noticed earlier that maybe he had problems instead of just being a pain. The abusive comments by some members did alot I think.
Its hard to tell. I'm not a perfessional but I know alot about this kind of thing. I'm sticking to the ADD, depression, and multi personalities. If there is a way to alert his friends or family do it.
Did he leave or something because he mentioned something like that earlier. How did that all go down? Did he ever create alts? Maybe he has a thing for attention too, still its hard to tell. Very hard to tell.

We saw through all this crap early on, and really and genuinely tried to pull him out of whatever it was he was going through, but he kept fighting us, and eventually just wore us down. I think, from my experience, that he is depressed, is socially retarded and has self-image issues. I do not believe he is psychotic or multiple personality. The names may change but the personality and style of writing does not change. That's how we are able to see through the new names and know that it is still him.
The lies are attention grabbers. The accusatory postings and his need to put himself in "higher" positions than others is just a need to make himself more important that he thinks himself to be. The "poor me posts" are also a result of his self-image issues.
The need to live mostly in a virtual world is a result of his lack of social skills.
What he must learn and understand is that "position" doesn't matter. What matters is who you are and that you are true to yourself and those that you hold dear. Someday he will understand that people will like him, if he lets the real him out instead of the strangeness that we have all seen.
Perhaps he would benefit from the 3 minute rule. Do not post to the forums until he has mulled his thoughts for 3 minutes and thought about what the consequences may be when he does post. Just taking that little bit of time, instead of jumping the gun would have him reconsider some of the more ridicules comments and obvious lies.

I hate to say it but I am thinking his family might of left him. I don't think he has any friends in real life at all even. He is just too strange to be married its sad to say. I'd be willing to go in There and talk to him but it seems he has vanished. If he is active at all on the forums do not say something which would hurt him. That and other things could make his condition worse. I don't think I can stress this enough. I think he is lost in life and hurting him vurbaly will make it much worse. If you see him hang out with him or something. Reach out in world instead of just with words. I think it'll make things alot better. |

-Flip I don't think this is about There or Second Life any more. Its about him and his problems and we're trying to help him. There is exactly like Second Life the only difference is graphics. They can do some pretty amazing stuff too. But back on the subject. I think I may be able to help him if only he talked to me. He needs help but friends and family are going to have to help him get started. It'll be hard for him but he needs the help. |

But I moved to There a few months later... Second Life isn't as perfect as you might think. I really think you should go back THERE. Recreate your acocunt, new name, fresh start, and be THERE not here since you prefer it THERE. |
