She broke your heart; He made you cry... She ran off with another guy. He took another for his lover... WHATEVER! Whether you are the heart breaker or breakee, do you want him/her back? Confess here...after all who is listening For me, sure, yes, in a heartbeat; I will love Vade Blair forever, and I miss him. EDITED days later to add....well maybe not so fast....met someone new. EDITED MANY DAYS LATER TO SAY... HELLL NOOOO!!! Thank you Blaze baby...xxx

Aww hun! I gotta say, I would like to think that I would go back to Fred in a heartbeat, and I miss him like hell, but I think we are better as friends, and anyways, not my choice is it There are some ex's i wouldn't touch with bargepoles, but out of about 4, i'd say 3 of them I would take back in an instant I don't like being Single

I have this rule. Once it is over, it is over. I allow millions of chances but once that door closes, it stays closed, because I know that what split us to begin with, will always be there and will hurt again. SO I feel it is always best to move forward and never go back. That has been my rule, not necessarily for everyone, though.

I guess that would depend what they did If they just disappeared off the face of the planet for a while, and they have a good reason for doing so without any contact (no, "I needed to find myself" is not a sufficient reason for not dropping a loved one a quick IM or email first! ), then sure, why not? If their prolongued absence is due to having spent the last month shagging their way through a coachload of women rugby players, twice, because they were "confused about things, but realise now it's you I love", probably not

I've been with my husband now for nine years, and before I married him, I dated a lot of people. Since we own a house and have kids together, I would have to have a pretty darned strong reason to want to split from my husband at this point. But the various boyfriends I've had through my life... forget about it, once the door is closed, it's O-V-E-R.

Regardless of what they have done, if I really love them, I would take them back over and over and over and over again. I am a glutton for punishment Maybe I have read "Love Story" too many times but, "Love means never having to say sorry...".

Kat, I am sorry to hear about your heartache. Nothing hurts more than the broken heart that comes from a love gone wrong. Wheelooo, I have been gone for 2 weeks and had not heard that Fred left you… what could the idiot… errr… guy be thinking? You seem to have the worst luck with men. Both of you… keep your chins up, it will get better. I know it hurts now but I am a believer in the “better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all” mindset. Both of you are nice, intelligent, hot chicks and the right guy is out there for you so don’t give up hope. As for the question posed, it is hard to go back… not impossible… but very very hard. I would say that if there were good reasons for the breakup and you try again then you are asking for trouble and the chances are you will only get hurt again and again. There is a time to move on and look to the horizon for someone new so embrace this as a fresh, new start. What am I talking about??? Come to think of it… forget all of that stuff… all the two of you need is a little Billy Love. Meet me under the old oak tree at the strike if midnight and all of your worries will be washed away!
