I agree with you there.

Consider they do not see it as a need that is great enough to balance the cost of meeting it. This would be a natural consideration of any business.
On the other hand, I can see a time where Linden Labs might choose to license their technology to either companies or individuals to allow them to create their own worlds. Perhaps even a time where such efforts might include an automatic mode of transport between then (as part of the license). This, to me, would much more literally meet their stated vision. But perhaps there is a fear of losing control (also not common in a product that has any degree of market equity).

They shot down the idea in less than 24 hours I don‘t think most ppl even know about the ideas we had. The future; you might be right there.

Perhaps 'bitter' was too strong a word. You do, however, seem very resentful that your interests are not judged as viable. If it helps, it is rarely a judgement of the worth of the idea or the one presenting it.

Not really, I expected it to be honest, but I had to take a shot at least.

The irony is, that in seeking to avoid one collective, you would inevitably create another.... even if the new one was more to your personal liking. (grin)

LOL true.

In all seriousness, a private sim with access only to approved members would go a long way toward meeting your interests. While it is not segregated from the rest of the world, it is as much so as can be done within it. If access is only given to those you have vetted, the end result is the same. Though I grant you that the knowledge the rest of the world is out there will still rankle.

Also true, we are seriously considering other avenues.
