Dear Forum poster/sl resident,

*Edited to remove everything. It saddens me that no one can post opinions without getting flamed at some point by others that also simply want to share opinions. It saddens me more that I'm too scared to post my own opinion for fear of getting flamed to high hell and back.

When the Game Forum was added I thought it was intended for posters who come to the forum with their game on but then I realized it was for the other kind of games people play.

But yes, it is getting a bit silly. These things go in cycles... hopefully it'll die down after a while.

Trin, you can't please everyone all the time. Some people know how to disagree in a civilized fashion, and some don't without being rude, personally insulting or condescending. Just ignore the latter and don't let them silence you. They don't matter, and their posts don't matter.

Jeska explain to me why this person is not banned for these continued attacks. I already apologized for that remark in a heated debate and my apology was accepted.

This person went on to not only attack my mental abilities but to tell the forums I do not belong in these forums.

This is just wrong.

More so I see after I am attacked the threads are locked without my ability to reply.

And why does that same individual, having received an official warning for naming names, get to post an entirely new thread - in which she goes on to name the same names AGAIN, with impunity - and nothing happens?

For those who can recognize it, she often undermines her own statements - usually deliberately - and therefore creates an extra dimension of satire. Admittedly, sometimes that satire is close to the edge. But then she likes to test that edge.

On the other hand, sometimes she goes too far.

If you don't appreciate the approach, it's your right, and I respect that. Please respect the fact that I do, most of the time.

the spirit of the tos probably doesn't apply as strictly to intelligent and productive players who aren't constantly complaining but when they must criticise, tend to do it in a constructive manner.

it also might help to own a half sim or more, or at least that is what i'm hoping so i don't get banned.

Why hasn't your buddy Catherine been banned? She has done the same thing. When you ask for the rules to be applied "fairly" don't forget the hammer is going to hit a lot of people in the ass. Catherine had 3 locked threads yesterday, after one was locked she made another. Where is the justice? Hold a sit in for that.

i honestly don't know where you saw any insults. you asked a question about why ulrika is not banned and i answered. my response was in regards to ulrika, and i make no refrence to anyone else. if you accuse me of insults, i accuse you of reading comprehension deficiency.

You argue for the right to criticize LL and SLers in general, up to and including the use of multiple, divisive phrases, most of which your friend coined whilst being backed by you - under the "free speech" umbrella - yet, at the first hint of dissonance to one of your's or your friend's ideas, you would have that silenced, and call it an attack. So much for freedom of speech.

It's amazing that you have no problem with Prokofy's direct attacks on LL, groups, and individuals, yet you scold others for doing what you claim he does. That being, questioning, and reporting...
