Yay! I finally have a saleable product! Lets see if I sell these images for L$100 each, how long will it take me to repay that 28 billion dollar grant for that satellite system?

*chews pencil*

I think SL needs some more people...

greetings all.. i've seen this thread derail, then correct itself a bit and get On Topic-ish, but now we're starting to lose traction again. i would like to politely suggest we heft this conclusively back in the original direction.. and hopefully we'll see some of the New ResMods come back in and post about the original topic as well.

there are some important topics raised within this thread and agree that some things need some attention, as well as others that need clarification and so on.

LOL!

Ya. Like the opossum, I recommend you guys just stand perfectly still in the face of mounting danger. Reduce your breathing so you make less noise until you are rotated out.

Page 7! The original topic couldn't identify itself in a police lineup at this point. And the last few posts have been, while not the most productive discussion, the least annoying so far.

I am so proud of my thread!

*It chokes a mother up* <3

But allow *ME* to remind everybody of the topic, since I was the one that directed the original question to the shiny new ResMods...

"Do you guys have any stories, opinions, or points of view about the program to share with us? We would love to get your perspective."

A few of you weighed in but what of the rest? If you guys are going to be moderating our words for the next two weeks, we would like to ... yanno ... get to know ya.

That's a super idea. It should have had it's own thread. And since the RMs are, ya know, monitoring the forums, they all can chime in for a few posts without much fuss.

Ok I'll go first!

Story:
When I was 22, I realized I didn't know how to whistle. So I decided it was high time to learn, and spent a few weeks really practicing. Once I could to a bit of a tune, I told my girlfriend I'd learned to whistle. She didn't believe me so i got up and started whistling while walking into the room she was in. I was concentrating too much on it, though, and tripped over a table, breaking my foot. I think this says a lot about my impartiality.

Opinions:
Green onions are lame. Use shallots for better flavor.
Pablo Picasso was an asshole.

Points of view:
90% of everyting written here is spurious. The remainder is flat out boring.

Yay! now where do I go to get my resmod outfit, please?

HI TACO! Welcome to the group and thanks for the intro. But the fist step in thread-derailment recovery is admitting you have a problem.

I would like to point out that I can wiggle my ears. Singlely, or together.

I was reminded of this by Taco's story. The reason I can wiggle my ears is my father could. I was 15 when I met him. I determined that if he could, then I would, too. After much trying, I eventually managed to isolate and exercise the muscles that control the ears. Eventually, I added to the act standing on my head, with legs in the lotus position and ears a-wiggle, thinking that this might some day land me on Letterman or something.

This singular talent means that I speak with authority when I say: Abolish the resmod program.

You know something I have always appreciated about you is your ability to tell the most random personal stories. They are always entertaining.

Yes, but Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole.

Anywise, I think the new RMs will do swell. Things have been going just peachy thus far.

Maybe a few more will pop in and add some value to the discussion? Maybe they can give us their view on how Phase I went and what they might do differently (or not) during their tenure. They might also add some color as to how well the previous RMs are mentoring the new group (but no names, please! that is a no-no).

I wait with bated breath to hear about how some of these people certainly aren't fit to be resmods. Especially that troublemaker Euterpe Roo. I certainly won't have her lording her power over ME.

I dunno about that Euterpe Roo character, Bet she has an alt that wears high heels and actas like a straight up diva. *hugs Roo*

I discovered that while I can't hammer a nail through a board with my prick,
I can hammer a nail through my prick with a board.

I hope this gives some insight to someone.

As a renowned opera singer in RL, I take offense at the suggestion that a diva is anything less than a pillar of society and, in fact, part of the cultural elite.

Yes, to fully appreciate Opera you must first hear it sung in the original Klingon...

Actually I like adding lyrics to classical tunes where none existed before, in hope that the opera snobs will actually include them and thus make it more interesting for us all.. I humbly submit the lyrics for Wagners Ride of the Valkerie:

They fly through the night sky,
Flashing their fat thighs,
Picking up dead guys,
You call this a Job?

You get the blonde then,
I'll get the red head!
Shit this one's not dead!
Quick, throttle the slob!

Since then this thread has only become more abusive, so obviously I made the wrong choice. Let me know now whether you think that I should have simply closed the thread or asked the Lindens to take action.

Since you asked...I think you (and the other mods) shouldn't have taken that resmod job to start with.
