So we have right leaning activist judges? As an attorney and form prosecutor I am not high up on every liberals good guy list. But when it comes to judges and judcial selection, the selection criteria is not some "activist v. laissez-faire" dichotomy. The selcetion criteria has become "how will they vote on abortion." The notion of Judicial Conservatism and temperment is merely window dressing to put a palatable spin on things. My issue with the court packing that is being done now is that we get a lot of bad law in other areas, in the homes that someday they can get the right combination and case to undue Roe v. Wade.

The "rah rah Rush" stance that most conservatives take is dangerously without depth and perspective and ultimately will erode the very freedoms that "judicial conservatism" ostensibly protects.
