If Republicans are generally against government funded health care and other entitlements, it would logically follow they would be against you paying for Sarah's birth control pills. Republicans are all for entitlements. They just want those entitlements (like multi-billion dollar contracts, tax breaks, etc) to go to corporations and party funders, not the plebians. It is not a logical error to say that a woman hates women. Self-loathing is a natural outcome of oppression. _____________________

I'm Catholic, pro-choice and I support access to safe and effective birth control. So does another rather famous Catholic, Senator Edward M. Kennedy, of Massachusetts. Catholics aren't usually part of the far right. At least, not your regular, run of the mill, average Joe Catholic. I won't deny that the Catholic church is a part of the problem, though. I've heard that the Church was a part of the founding force of the Moral Majority. This is why I no longer support the Church with my money. I only support my local parish building and expenses. The rest of my charitable donations are made directly to the organizations I want the money to benefit. _____________________
