Well their post from 11:00 today said it may take up to 5 hours. Well 6 hours later and still nothing. WTF? |

I have been trying to log in for over seven hours now and still nothing but the stupid inventory problem pop up. This is crap. I spend way to much RL money on SL to not be able to log in all day long. I bet people all over the world are boiling over this and I don't blame them. Come on Lindens get it together please!!!!!

I am still getting the inventory message. My friends in different states are on fine and have been for an hour or more.
Error reads "login failed, the inventory system is currently unavaliable." Would really like to get back in soon... |

hmm i can get in now but my alt that was online when the trouble started, made it on once, then i sent him some items for building and now i am getting the "inventory system not available" yet again and am unable to log him in.
This character can get in fine though, so its looking like a corrupted file somewhere on the server side. I am relatively new to SL, but I am veteran It guy (20 years now) and know how server and software problems can creep up on you, but as a system adminstrator, if you are running a large paying operation like this you should have redundant backup servers that can be switched to if the primary one fails. I just so happended to be off of work for the next 5 days and finally have a chance to explore SL and now this happens. I have become a premium member and also own land and have a land maintenace fee, so I guess my question is am I going to get a refund for the 2 days that I was not able to get on for this month. I would be in big trouble at work if my servers were down for 2 days and I did not have the backup server to rely on.

I've been here in SL going on 3 years now and this is typical, something happens and there is no fail safe in works.
