Login Failed: no_inventory_host

Hey.......Has anyone ever gotten the error message

Login Failed: no_inventory_host before?

A friend of mine was camping and was suddenly booted with the message "no_inventory_host" and now cannot log back on for the same reason.

Any ideas?

It will be working soon.... weve all got it.

Also the same problem here. And I quickly tried to make an alternate account and this one goes fine.

The inventory system is not available now........

I just met a new friend just before it all started and now, sitting "outside" and trying to relog every now and then....

are you saying creating a new acct will log in just fine ?

Yes, quickly made me an alt account, and logged in, slowly but was in it

Same for me... Hangin with the inventory problem for about 3 hours now... But I wonder why there´s no blog entry about that problem ?! Are u guys sure it is already beeing worked on ?

I got kicked for the inventory issue too. Before that I was on and in fairly good shape, minus my eyes at times. I have been trying off and on to log in for hours now, and each time I notice that there are still a lot of people in SL-some 41,700 or so.
I'm jealous.
What was wrong with my inventory that I got kicked but they stayed on? How can I make sure that the next time this happens I get to be one of those special people who don't get punted off?
I feel so left out

yea i have been having that inventory problem.

it says "login failed, the inventory system is currently unavaliable." however i see the server is on and there are over 40k people on at the momment... what is the deal?

Yeah thats exactly why i´m wondering there is NO official notice about problems with the inventory system, and there are plenty of ppl online on SL who obviously don´t have this issue. I hope we will get some Info, or better a working SL...

Well it's in the blog now. It is suppose to be over by 3pm SL time... Hopefully by tonight they will have it cleared up, I haven't been able to play for 2 days with the network issue last night and now this. I hope the rolling restart next Wednesday will go smoothly.

Had the same problem for over four hours. The system does say a bunch of my friends are online with 41,000 others. But if you look at the SL time on the login screen it's stuck at 10:29 AM PT?

My clock has been stuck at 10:33 for a week...

*sigh*

I've IMed some of my friends through my email...so I know some people are getting online...just us sorry pathetic souls LL doesn't like I guess...

Well mine isn´t stuck, and whatever you´ve seen i can´t find any information regarding the inventory issue in the blog. Still the only thing mentioned there is the "normal" login issues that continue to keep on since the past 2 days...

I had had some log in issues for about a week now..but nothing like this..

My main problem was with things not attaching, buying stuff and having my money taken form my account but NOTHING delivered...crashing 4-8 times in a row...

So..I guess me not logging has alleviated my other issues..*shrug* Downside is I'm forced to get back on MySpace to communicate with my friends...*shudder* I would take relentless lag over MySpace spammers any day...

My log-in screen bounces from today's issue to yesterday's at random log in attempts. My sanity is slipping, my recourse is to laugh at the thought that I was in Sl yesterday, but today I can't sign in yesterday..or today. ~twitch~

Im also having the same problem for 4 hours .. I have an alt avi and can log in with her but am locked out otherwise ... I too feel quite lost .. are we addicted or not ??
