Login Failed: no_inventory_host

I cant believe I pay for this.

Was finally able to get on last night and stay on most of the night. Then the same crap this morning with a little SSL mixed in. As said previously, great holiday!

Junk...

SL allowed me another taste before booting me....again....and now I can't get back on.....again....



Guess it's back to MySpace...*shudder*

Well i got in , after a complete uninstall of SL and folders i was able to log in . Briefly mind you as i was there 15 mins or so and then got a wonderful message... You have been logged out of Second Life , Inventory System unavailable. So Not sure what they did or doing but this is ridiculas to say the least .

The announcement on this is currently gone. I"m going to cross my fingers that they ARE working on it, despite it being a holiday.. simply because it seems up and down for everyone.

It's amazing how many people come out of the woodwork when something goes wrong just to spend their first five posts to whinge and be abusive. What do you think that will get you anyway? Need support? Try the official support system. LL DO NOT REACT to stuff on the forums. What do you expect from the other residents here on the forums? Most of those just coming to complain never even bother to introduce themselves but have a first post that says "SL suxx". Yeah great. If you were here to stay, fine-but it will be as always when SL is borked-the moaners will disappear never to be seen again as soon as the coast is clear. Why can't people join a forum and stay?

Yeah..i give up for today...

I'm going to go drown my sorrows in gravy and eat myself into a turkey coma.

Maybe if I keep my hands busy by shoveling food in my face, I won't miss the clicking of the keyboard..

Back to login problems...
I got in a few times, but most recently got logged out for the inventory thing again.
*Sigh

And to think, right before this started I was **THIS** close to clicking on the button to upgrade my account to premium! SO glad I tried to log in one more time first.

*grin* In world activity has stolen me away from ALL forums I'm on..hehe

I mod a couple as well..and haven't been my in about 8 weeks to any of them..the only time I do in when I can't get in Second Life..so...my excuse is this...I'm addicted to In World...anything going on outside of In World just doesn't exist..hehe......these past couple of days have been like being thrown outside mid noon after spending 3 hours in a movie theater..eyes all squinty...confused and disoriented...can't remember where I parked the car..

And I never assumed Linden read this...I just figured this was a meeting place for us all to grieve and discuss the issues we are having....no one else to relate to...can't run to my Silent Hill forums to bitch..they wouldn't give a crap...and it's nice to find out I am not the only one..before popping on the forum I thought my computer or internet connection was going out..

Might want to try to cleare your cache, worked for me this morning.. Not working for me anymore right now but who knows you might be lucky.

This is going backwards. After about 15 hours of not being able to log in I finally got in without problems. It worked fine during the day, but I had to log out to swap PCs. Now I can't get back in again with the same inventory problem. Has someone overdosed on turkey and pressed the wrong button?

I can't believe it, I paid for it and I am still out after 24 hours.

Just got back in again now so it would be worth everyone trying again.

First off, i didn't know i HAD joined this forum until i had an issue, assumed some avie that is older than one month might have some knowledge that *i*, as a newb, do not...when i googled looking for possible answers, i found this forum, only to find out that i was apparently signed up automatically when i created my avatar. Now that i am aware of this forum, i promise to use it more often and keep you posted on all of my comings and goings.....IF i can ever log back in, that is....if you like, leave me a direct e-mail addy, and i can keep you informed of all my RL activities as well.

Secondly, i was originally coming to post that i had gotten in for all of about 10 minutes, long enough to be able to talk to someone that had been waiting anxiously to hear from me, then was rudely logged back out in the middle of the convo.

Thirdly, i don't think sl suxx.....i do think that this is a part of IW life, and shit happens...i would like a better announcement system, like updates a lil more often than 5 hours apart or something....but that's just this newbs 2 cents *shrugs*

Well I just checked the blog and it said that the issue was resolved. If that's the case why can I still not log in...anyone else out there still having this problem?

Have you heard about the concept of netiquette, or even simply being polite? Btw, this forum DOES have guidelines/tos that everyone should actually READ...but my guess is you'll be gone as soon as SL is working again properly anyway...
