sign on to the BETA HAVOK grid for 5 minutes with your avatar name, then sign off.
now sign onto the regular client with the same avatar name.
i tested this on my main & ALT account and on my sisters account and all were able to log in.
edit:
you may have to do this at least 3 times.

you can have a seperate area for doing that? I thought that once you havok grid you werent allowed to have main grid? Was I lied to? I dunno but sounds like a good idea. I just dont want to lose the windlight or main grid.
