What have you quit doing in SL?

I have stopped having sex...well just in the mornings...OK just on Monday morning.

I stopped driving and flying aircraft nearly as much as I used to. Between ever-increasing sim lag (it's worse now than it's been since 1.5) and bajillions of automated weapon scripts, driving is a chore anymore, and flying is outright dangerous at worthwhile altitudes. I still do some cross-grid flights above 1500m, but not as much short-distance stuff.

I stopped working because mentoring and greeting has taken such center stage i have no more time to work.

I stopped drinking like a fish every time I logged in.

I am happy to say that the hair makers I've come to know during hair fair, we all root for each other when someone makes a very cool style and we all wear each others stuff. Theres a handful of us that are constantly tossing items back and forth at each other and can be seen in in hair besides our own its kinda cool

I have stopped (since long) to go to clubs and dance... BUT dance are nice.. miss some of it! Plus that my favorite club are gone.. since long... Susiee Hamiltons!!

1) I have stopped shopping, nothing new out there to buy! The hair sucks, the skins are the same, have my buildings and vehicles are useless.

2) I have stopped flying. Between the security scripts, weapon scripts, problems flying between Sims and the fact the vehicles themselves are substandard, it is quite pointless! Oh yes, the sky has become a junkyard. I use to love flying my tarn (am not Gorean) over the countryside. I could just image his great flapping wings soaring on the thermal waves! Now Umi Chan sits on my roof awaiting a flight that will never happen

3) I have stopped going to clubs. Between the Lags and attack on them by griefers and the security guards response, it is as much fun as visiting a jail.

4) I have stopped AV sex; it never did a thing for me and is at best case group abuse.

5) I stopped sitting on my lawn chair. Lately there have been a lot of griefers coming by and trying to cage me. Usually ends in a push attack. They are almost always new Avatars but they have a lot of skill, thus they are probably alts.

6) I have stopped exploring. There is so much land that is "private" and it is almost always impossible to know where you can visit and where you are not welcome. To avoid stress, I have become much more careful about entering an unknown area. In short I usually do not visit unknown Sims. I do not want to get ejected and get the message more or less like "hey you no good a******, you violated my privacy my stepping foot on my land!” There is usually not even a sign! And IMing before entering each plot is too much of a chore. Thus no exploring.

7) With the coming of summer my friends don’t come on line as often. Thus I have stopped chatting with friends online.

I have stopped sending in AR, s. The Lindens never did a thing with them no mater how much the truth is on my side!



Hey! There seems to be no reason for me to log on is there? The self centered residents of Second Life are killing the game. Hint scripter’s and builders there has to be customers for you to sell your stuff to. Right now there seems to be an "endless" supply of newbie’s for you to take advantage of but it will not always be so. Be careful of what you wish for, you want privacy well you much just get it. Say 100 builders and scripter’s online and about 2000 griefer teens making log in not worthwhile.



I made the mistake of paying my "premium" account in advance. I will use my account until it runs out. Then become a basic infrequent user. Hey Lindens! How about a refund???

In your narrowminded and blinkered opinion. You either don't get out much, or you're blind. There are some excellent skins out there, and some really cool hair pieces in just about every style you can possibly imagine. And then some. I don't know how vehicles can be 'useless', but the most fun I have in SL is playing in the variety of vehicles I own (although my Dominus Shadow pretty much serves as a replacement for all of 'em!)

I stopped sleeping in my bed with my fiancee. Invariably, due to activites with the SL-wife and my slave, I wind up sleeping on the couch IRL. Not by choice, mind you.

Oh I have a very nice skin from Nomine. I do hate what she did with certain aspects of it. The way a certain group of hair is represented. I would punch someone in the face if they told me to trim that hair! Western civ is so vey odd!

Why am I "narrowminded"? The proble with the hair is that it is stiff and goes not move like real hair. Thus mine makes me look like a "hedgehog"

Where do you use you vehiciles? The lag makes using roads hard. Also the nice residents have their security scripts set to hit you with a push attack while on Linden Land! Remember AR's are pointless!

It is just that they are thoughtless about others. My land is still open like my friends land next to mine. Second Life is about meeting people and not solo activity. I can sit in the privacy of my Real Life bedroom all alone.

About being a troll, why does being unhappy with Second Life make me a troll? I have noticed that residents like name calling. Why don’t you tell me about all of the wonderful places in Second Life? If I am negative, how about a positive response to balance it out?

Why should anyone lift a finger to bother to convince you of anything? You've obviously made your mind up, and slagged down most people's efforts in the process, blaming them for your lack of enthusiasm, imagination, creativity and your evident lack of understanding of even the basic fundamentals of Second Life - like blaming hair creators for the fact the hair doesnt behave like hair. The gentle readers of the forums have the chance to tell me about their favorite friendly places in second life. I can not seem to find them on my own. A lot of the places I use to have fun at are empty. I went to a club and there were 4 or 5 female strippers and no customers. Ah women do not intrest me! The other places I use to visit were either gone or empty.

Where are all of the avatars? What are they doing? The main map is acting strangly lately.

By troll i am refering to your constant negative resonses to every topic you post about on the forums.
