I continue... there are certain aspects of SL I'm not so much into currently (i.e. clubbing, money chairs), but I'm continuing to explore what's in here. I know I'm still missing out a lot--on it!

I've stopped ...

hanging in SL 24/7
hanging in EQII instead 24/7
feeling obligated to worry about the station or Scintillation 24/7
not following the 1st rule myself
owning land just because, renting's ok too
clubbing, going to contests compulsively
not using my time in SL for my entertainment
feeling compelled to only wear my designs as a billboard
taking contract work which makes me bonkers
spending time w/& in drahma factories

Not alot of shopping because of texture/interest list issue or whatever it is. I just use SL-Exchange to find what I need, not that I don't like shopping, just that it's not worth the time because it feels like work and not fun waiting for the grey to go away.

I noticed 75% less seeds of destruction in sims lately.

Though that doesn't explain the other 25%.

Well I tried crocheting them, but I was no good at it, it was much better with the fully programable Weebler sewing machine, with build it preset stitching.

As far as the reduction, is that a scientific poll? I knew I had been remiss in my duties, but that is only because I am taking a information gatherig class from aimee weebler.

hehe thanks Torley, but I actually did think of something I've stopped doing

. I stopped going to show and tells. I still think they're wonderful things for new residents, but I rarely ever see anything there that I haven't seen before. It seems that by the time a new user has thought of something unique and new, they also have stopped going to show and tells.

Plus it also seems the longer you're in sl, the more detail oriented your innovations become, and thus less visibly impressive than the things you usually show at a show and tell.

I have stopped exploring as much as I used to. It sucks massive when it takes forever for textures to load. Plus I continually freeze and crash, well unless I am at my house and not moving that is. And I just loooooooooove when I see myself on when in actuality I am not. It's just a figment of my imagination. Fun, fun, fun.

Not feeling like you can wear what you want would be a drag.

I guess the cuter a competitor's outfit is the less a designer in the always competitive mode would want to wear it.

Or for, say, a mech avatar maker, if the competition makes ones way cooler than you can, you don't get to wear that and have to go around in your own even though you think it's inferior. That would hurt.

I stopped doing anything that could be considered marginally productive as the "platform" steadily degraded since around v1.4. Now it is just a sometimes pretty chat room to me.

But not a very good chat-room, so far as the chat system goes.

I remember an html based chat system that "scrolled" the text by redrawing the whole page, very flickery, but it was a mujch better place to chat. Why?

Multi-line text entry. You could sort of compose a paragraph instead of having just one partial line to type in.
