1. Don't get shitty with us employees when we refuse to give you freebies. Also, calling someone a 'dirty f***ng slut' for refusing you will put you on the fast track to being banned from that club.
2. Accept that some in some clubs exotic dancers are just that, dancers. If you want sex you need an escort. See abovementioned point as well.
3. If there is a club rule where the dancers will not take off their tops for less than a certain amount, or can't do full frontal nudity in the public areas, don't hassle the employees to break the rule.
4. On the same point, if there's a rule against full frontal nudity in the club by customers, or there are employee only areas - follow the rules. Please don't chuck a sad when when we tell you off for ignoring the rules.
In a nutshell, yeah, so our AV's are involved in the SL adult industry. It's a fun way to make Lindens, and even some RL bucks. Please treat us with respect and you'll get it back.

Ok guys, the purpose of this thread was to ask people who go to SL adult clubs to be a bit nicer to the people there.
*Not* to start a discussion on the morality of the sex industry in RL or SL.
*Not* to bash the people who work in it.
If you have a problem with it, don't go to the clubs. Don't read this thread.
There's some stuff on SL I don't like... but I don't go hiijack someone else's thread to vocalise this. Start your own thread, ok?

There's one club that I go to, and dance at on the main dance floor with other guests, because it's run by friends of mine. I go there to support my friends, try my luck on the raffle balls, and generally kick back. I do NOT Strip or Escort. EVER. Sometimes I might be dressed pretty sexy, to try for one of their contest prizes. But just because someone is in an adult club and has a pretty avatar, you can't assume they work there, or that they are working there as escorts. For those who ARE working there... remember, that's still a PERSON up there on that stipper pole or stage. Someone spending time to entertain people, and hopefully earn some money. That doesn't make it OK to hurl abuse at them. _____________________

When, exactly, did our language get so distorted that "Escort" means "whore"? If you want sex, you need a whore. If you want to go to a party with someone on your arm, then you need an escort. I know, I know.. the two words are almost synonymous now, but I still get irked when I see all these ephemisms become common usage.
