Sorry one last post: Beyond my issues with the OS threads you'll note that this is not an OS thread so people have absolutely no reason or excuse to hijack this thread for their OS complaints. Again you are not being helpful, you are not being productive, you are just making it impossible to have legitimate conversations on this forum since every thread that Katt posts is hijacked by OS complaints. That's my bigger issue here.

If I'd lost my build or rental business I wouldn't be posting here, but let's look at who took it off topic. I told Katt, as requested, what I had planned. I made a suggestion to Katt about what I thought would be fun.

Bob, so you hijack random threads because LL won't reply to your little rants about how they don't love you anymore, how sad. As I stated above, the Lindens don't care about your little problems anymore, they listened, they even made some (admittedly minimal) changes, probably pre-planned changes incidentally, so I don't see what reasoning you can use to justify hijacking every Linden posted thread you come across just because you can't get over your little hissy fit.

To this thread? admittedly nothing as of yet however If the opportunity arises to be constructive then I will however I didn't feel like letting your slight about "heinous price rises" go unchallenged. To answer your question, while the christmas party part was on topic the price rises part was off-topic so you were the one who brought it off topic initially.

Incidentally, please look at my post history and look at my other posts on Katt's various threads and you'll see that I have been being constructive overall.

You still haven't made one point here about what Katt asked. I had the courtesy to do that. You're trolling Gordon, give it up or make a contribution as Katt asked.

I'll probably check out some of the attractions, maybe build a snowman and drink some virtual hot chocolate while roasting some virtual chestnuts on a particle open fire.

Ciaran, I don't expect anyone on their end to say for sure but if I were LL, and believe me I'm glad I'm not working for them especially right now, but thinking about it the logical thing to do it would be to keep the OS Discussion section open for people to have a place to vent in which case your right I would be wrong to try to push people off posting there although I stand by the fact that snipes on threads on every thread Katt or other Lindens post are unhelpful and are just annoying to the rest of us who are tired of dealing with the constant whining everywhere about the OS issue.

Gordon.....I am not attacking you personaly..but I think you are missing the whole point that is going on here right now...this is just not about OS issues anymore..true the OS Issue started it all but it has gone way beyond that at this point. What the issue is here any more,and not just in these forums, is that ALOT of people in SL have lost total trust and faith in anything LL labs says or does. So as a result,yes,there will be ALOT of people either leaving SL or HAVE left SL or just dont really care anymore. So get used to seeing this kind of "flaming" that you call it because it will be the "norm" in here for a very very long time.

Gordon - I do find it amazing that you hark on about the OS problem much more than anyone else, if it wasn't for you the issue may have been forgotten, so good on you for keeping the issue in everyones mind, thank you, happy Christmas.

What your essentially doing though by stopping these threads is taking it out on other residents. This is essentially a more technological form of storming an airport with enough protesters that it has to be shut down. Really your self defeating because if I get your goal right which is to stop LL from being able to normally conduct business until they give in to your <sic> demands then you and the rest of the residents are the ones who get hurt by this more than LL so really your in a no-win situation.

The grid's shrunk by +5% already, over a month before any pricing changes happen. Don't worry about Gordon - this issue won't be forgotten anytime soon.

We've been winterizing Livingtree this week and will be hosting some events there. Also, there will be MUCH to do at Winterland in Del Aqua, which will be open for yet another year.

I've been watching Wengen, Voss, Zermatt and Moritz. Like the Aurora effect. Hope the chairlift in Wengen gets a touch more TLC

Off topic of me but O well. I have been a vocal critic of you on occasion Katt but have always acknowledged that you have an impossible job which i would never want. Just wanted to say that I am seeing a bit more balance in your moderation. Just as I criticize I can also praise.

I like the last few posts and ideas the Lindens have posted to the forums including Winter Wonderland and am hoping the increased Linden participation continues here. Still hopin for the makeover here thou. (Just had to sneak that in)
