Good for him. He and his partner have been the most intelligent posters in this whole slapstick festival. He got a raw deal from LL, so everyone here is happy he's making out OK. Thanks Brenda! This thread started out as a way to inform people of the situation and ask for opinions regarding the matter. I for one have appreciated the information that's been shared and the varying points of view. The truth is Ivan is fine and his friends have made him feel so loved and supported! For that, we both thank you. The Lindens did what they felt was right in response to the situation. Ivan accepted it. We hope there are no unforeseen repercussions, however, if there are we will deal with them accordingly. Our SL's as we know them have NOT come to a horrible end. For those of you who have felt it necessary or appropriate to criticize and make judgements, just realize that one day you too may be in a similar situation. To have the Lindens arbitrarily and capriciously enforce the rules without warning or due process is upsetting and makes one question whether participation in this virtual world is worthwhile. That said, I believe that Ivan and I have both come to the conclusion that it is. Thanks again to all our friends who've shown support. Thanks also to the posters who made their opinions known in an informative and substantive way. I learned a lot! If any of you happen to cross paths with Ivan or me in-world please say hi. You'll find that we are nice people and a heck of a lot of fun to be around. Ivan lost his erection, but certainly not his sense of humor, which was the source of his name choice to begin with. No offense was intended, and like most people who inadvertently offend, he has made his apologies and accepted the consequences. Thanks for the laughs and the thought provoking conversation y'all.
