Again, a suggestion that I will state once and not harp on: One big prize for least-guessed alt. This prize can be divided in case of a tie. No other categories.. no "prettiest" "best in lithiuanian cashmere", "shineist", "most unobtrusive excite parts" .. none of that - too complex. Well Brann suggested having a couple of those contests. If someone else is willing to judge and award then its fine. Just, please, dont fill the place up with hundreds of those stupid voting boards! ![]() _____________________

Rhaorth, the forum has a long tradition of posting information on major Forum Cartel events here. Strife let us get away with it... in case you did not notice I put a big smile in my post I was speaking tongue in cheek I had a feeling someone would take it the wrong way I do not really care what ppl post about, just find it ironic that ppl do not much care anymore Edited to add... long tradition? just what do you consider long? hehe the cartel is not that old to be considered a long tradition ![]() _____________________

Oh I dont know,i think having a few contests would be a good idea. More people can win money that way.

*slaps head* Rather obvious. lol, try confusing your whole family by calling your parents the 'rents' or 'rentals'. At one point I had an abbreviation/nickname for every member of my immediate family. _____________________

Different categories for prizes would work well.
Some of us might not get there until later, giving us an unfair advantage over those who've been there a while and have been more closely examined for any and all resemblance to mains. And, with people coming and going, you might not get to meet up with everyone. I like "shiniest av" - no doubt Crazod has a pinball AV somewhere... ![]() _____________________

I'm convinced. More categories (cats?) is cool.

Well, dang. Everyone knows Mumfuzz already. I'll have to come up with someone new. Newb gear sounds fun. Unless I get sent out of town again, I'll be there. March 7! Can't wait.
Wheee - I HAVE to go to Canada this weekend. Sigh. As much as I love going to Canada (I really do. Despite the fact that I goof on Canada a lot, it's a great place) I wish it wasn't mandatory and I didn't have to work all weekend while I was there. I need a vacation. All work and no play make Trout ANGRY. _____________________

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

- I HAVE to go to Canada this weekend. Sigh. Thank you for making that sound like a 3-year stretch in Alcatraz. Except for the miserable weather ranging from mildly melty to perfectly polar (usually within a 5 hour time span to give the highways that extra special slickness we enjoy so much), Canada is really a very spiffy place. ![]() _____________________

I don't know if I I'll be able to attend, but I'll pony up a grand on behalf of the Cartel Founders.

That's why I put the disclaimer in. My objection is being sent to Canada on business and having no choice in the matter. I LOVE going to Canada. The fishing in BC is phenomenal, the people are nice, the atmosphere is really cool. Canada is a wonderful country. In fact, I'll probably go back sometime in the next few months on a long weekend just for fun. Unfortunately, my great Canadian adventure this weekend involves a lot of meetings, wearing a tie and looking at the inside of a conference room in some stupid hotel. I might get taken to a nice dinner, for which I will, no doubt get stuck with the bill, and I'll be lucky if the turkeys I work for will reimburse me anytime this year. As much as I love Canada, I'd really rather be doing something else this weekend. _____________________

I am the Alt and rather than create another account, maybe I could send my Main. Though lots did meet her at the hangout a long long time ago, she has a totally different life and style and personality -- and I think only 2 or 3 actually know she is me - or I am her - or however that goes.

Huh? How did I miss this thread?
Count me in! I'll add $L1000. So not only do we come as an Alt, but we have to look newbie? Hmmm... So many choices, so little time. Maybe I'll unleash my inner whore. Heck, I might even wear some heals, Yikes! |

What's all this wagering about then? Does the money go to the first person to recognise Drivin Sideways in a throng of newbie alts purely on the quality of the chat-up lines?
I'm puzzled. Someone help please. ![]() _____________________

MAx, I'm flattered.
The primary winner is the least-guessed alt. I think the ladies have other prize categories in mind. Prize categories... "pricats"? I'm trying to learn to speak Clairese. _____________________

I have to look like a newbie. . That's the trouble with five-page threads. By the time you get to the end, it's covered in pie and other things. You don't HAVE to, Soji ![]() B. _____________________
