I think you misunderstand. The goal is not to BE guessed, it is to ESCAPE identification. No one wil send an Alt they think may be recognized... so the way I see this the contest isnt' rigged at all.

It is fine for me to make my alt shout "Hey everyone, you may also know me as Claire Silverspar!" But I am not gonna win the contest lol. So as long as you mind sacrificing the chance of winning, you are fine to tell people who they may know you as.

I did think of other contests, and I thought that Max might let me make him judge as he is head boytoy. :p But I didn't know whether people would go along with that.

Conundrum, of course you are invited! everyone is!

I will use this thread to re-state my pledge challenge, since y'all wimped out the last time.

I shall even increase my pledge.

I pledge $L500 to be used as prize money for this party/contest. In addition, I pledge to match any and all other donations, minimum of $L100, to a maximum of another $L1,000.

I will not decide who wins, I will just give the prize money.

As it stands now, there is $L500 prize money. I challenge YOU, everyreader, to sweeten the pot. Pledge at least $L100 and I'll match it. Someone pledge right now and you pledge will do 2x (like bonuis prims on estate land!) the good. Pledge $L250 right now and the pot will become ONE THOUSAND, thanks to you!

YOsef ... if you haven't sent yet please hold off. That part hasn't been sorted yet.

I was assuming the same thing that Rio said: CLaire is the judge and she would hold the pledge $.

If I am elected/appointed to hoold the pledge $ I shall serve, but whatever... it just hasn't been sorted at all.

Another option would be for pledgers to hold their own funds for now, then pay the winner directly once notified. I suggest this route. I'll even volunteer to send IMs to pledgers after the event.

Please clarify (....hehehehe "Claireify";) ....

I dunno the term "deets". Do you mean just a notecard, or a notecard AND the money?

I'll repeat this part only because posts are fast and furious right now, then I'll drop it: I recommend that pledgers hold the money themselves, and after the party we just notify each pledger as to where they should send it. Now I'll stop saying that and roll with whatever is decided.

Again, a suggestion that I will state once and not harp on:

One big prize for least-guessed alt. This prize can be divided in case of a tie. No other categories.. no "prettiest" "best in lithiuanian cashmere", "shineist", "most unobtrusive excite parts" .. none of that - too complex.

drop a notecard with the pledger's (pledgee? huh? whatever...) name and the amount they pledge onto Chandra. KEEP YOUR MONEY! I dont want to be responsible for it getting mixed up in my money. As long as we know who owes what, we will be fine.
