I believe if you are involved with someone in RL and you come in here to do what you cant in Rl why are you not open enough to your RL partner to talk about it?
I have spoken to many who have to log off fast because their other half as come home. What kind of relationship must you have if you cant be up front, and those who say " oh my partner would not understand " have you asked ?

I try to avoid talking to my rl wife at all.

Do not presume to know what may or may not be going on in another relationship until you have lived in THEIR shoes for a while.


All anyone can EVER answer regarding the cheating question is whether or not it is cheating in YOUR relationship/perspective.

I've always believed masturbation is real sex. It's physical and satisfying. SL sex is a complex physical and mental connection that we share with one (or others). It's as intimate as to real partners but in a parallel way. Connecting mentally and just on a keyboard is difficult but entirely satisfying. So, a serious answer to your question - is yes, in a way it must be cheating if you are married but only in a certain way.

Adter all, I fantasize even when I am with a real man. HE may not be who I am thinking of as I connect with him. Our minds wander down other pathways. The circmstances and situation may be fantasized - all kindsa things can be.

We are incredibly complicated. Sex is still, I reckon, one of our greatest mysteries. So much a part of ourselves but so alien and distant from our conscious minds and our realities. I dont hide that Hal is a very satisfying partner in sl, and that I have had many men that I have made out with for one reason or another. It's fun and its satisfying.

If I had a long long term partner in real while I was having my partnerships here I still wouldnt be cheating cos my bod is mine to do as I please and ownership of me or a part of me is ruffian-medieval. This is a brave new world and sex here is pleasure and lacks much of teh guilt-tripping taht reality believes we should feel.
