Females and SL ???

Ok so i just thought of this, There are alot of women in SL most have a Partner or a BF, Others maybe a Lover here and there, My question being Is this safe even for SL? Most women have a Husband or another Mate in RL! I know some people come here to be somone who they can't be in RL, But i mean its like, Well i mean it is Cheating, Even if your not having REAL SEX its the words,thoughts and Emotions that come with and from it!
many of you might be saying Wow look what this B**** is saying now She be a crazy one, Maybe i am crazy but its just somthing that came to mind, I would like to help some people if i could so if anyone wants to talk feel free, We could all use some help once in a while Including myself lol!

Wow, we haven't had an "is it cheating" thread in forever... feels like old times.

IMO, it is cheating if your RL partner doesn't know about it... but on the plus side, as long as you have antivirus protection, you can't bring anything home!

my EX actually thought it was kinky..i mean he was never around or anything like that and he didn't play..he just got really turned on with the fact that i wasn't that tiny little innocent girl he thought i was i guess lol

My take:

Love is a state of mind and transcends material composition. It counts as cheating if your spouse/partner/mate/etc does not agree. Sharing passionate or affectionate feelings with someone else is not okay just because they didn't catch you.

Many do feel it it's fine. There are folks I know whose husband and wife are aware that they each explore online and it enhances their relationship.

On the other hand I know someone who caught his wife about 15 yrs ago in AOL chat with one hand. Not the same thing when only one person doesn't think it counts.

What if my marriage vows allow for anything short of true physical contact with another person? Then am I cheating? Or are you then going to claim that my marriage isn't real?

I have friends with benefits in real so I dont consider cheating to be a question I need worry about. I've never been successful at maintaining a one-partner relationship in real. I just get really messed up in the afternoons and end up having coffee with a really lovely guy and that's when all my efforts go west. I remember I got into a real issue once on the Embankment in London.

I certainly try and maintain a sense of partnership in sl, but Hal is cool about my wanderings and I am very lucky he doesnt mind. He says it's just "me" and I'm worth it. But I respect him for his decision. In the end I think its a question of being true to yourself and your reasons for being on sl.

I dont hide my pleasure seeking (even on forum) - why lie? So if I "stray" from Hal I always tell him. I keep no sl sexual secrets from him. I am very Zindran.

Marriage is a bit of a downer as far as I can see.

LOL! Well, I enjoy the many men I meet. I couldnt be glued to just one. Men are absolutely fantastic and sl men are myriads. Amazing collections of males from all over the world. Its a smorgusboard and we should count our blessings. The number of men I count in my calling cards (my little black book) is very very high and I try and remember them all.

I love the cool way men act in sl now they have their wives somewhere else in real and they can be alone with me. They get kinda excited and are very proud of themselves. I have rarely found an man who will discuss real wives.

I wonder what they think about us? Will they respect us in the moning?
