The quote in my previous proves my point. You continually point out others' errors, yet cannot admit your mistakes. I suspect you belong on the teen grid.
Your previous what?

Pep (Read the thread again; you are wrong.)

PS Teen grid? Are you completely off your rocker?

And yes, I omitted the word, "post," in the previous post. We all make mistakes. Most of us can admit them.
Sloppiness or laziness? :p

Pep (You *do* know you can edit posts don't you? ;) )

ESLer = Those individuals for whom English is a Second (third, fourth . . .) Language

I am apparently notorious in these forums for my criticism of ESlers, which is quite unfair; I am actually critical of *anyone* - snip -

Constructive criticism can be a good thing - it's when it turns into a "You are inferior to me" witch hunt that could be construed as a problem.

When constructive criticism is over-emotionally construed as a witch hunt it becomes a problem.

Pep (Some people just can't cope with *any* criticism though. ;) )

Of course I do.

The question is: Are you astute enough to realize why I didn't?

Ok, obviously a troll. There's no talking with this guy.

J'en ai marre avec toi.

Pep (Ca suffit?)

And Pep, while we're spewing criticism: it's 'ça', not 'ca'. A regular 'c' followed by an 'a' is pronounced 'k' in French. If you'd mastered basic French, you should know.

Don't put my in any more of your quotes. This is no longer a 'discussion'.

There are *two* people in SL that misspell "troll" in exactly the same way?

Pep (It apparently isn't just because you don't care enough that your posts are incomprehensible; you are obviously over-emotional as well. )

In my entire life, I never met such a pathetic and sick person as you Pep, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

You keep pointing to my mistakes no matter what, but yet ignore fully your own mistake. Like I said: the information was available WAY before you ASSUMED I was ESLer. Yet you refuse to recognize that mistake, while continuing to point out mine.

That simply makes your pointing to my mistake absolutely ungrounded, useless and insignificant and the funny part: you do not even realize that yourself.

You'll probably point at this post as well, since I still refuse to use a spellchecker. And you will still ignore, or deny the true facts wich are for me easy to proof.

Hey cause then it is an equal battle, and that can never be. You need the upper hand in this. You know that I can easely find out and proof when I placed surten information in my profile. Therefor you will always deny, and hope that goes away... cause heaven forbid that you have to admit to your mistakes. That cannot be, Everyone makes mistakes, and Pep points them out, but Pep never ever makes a mistake. Ignoring them however doesn't make them go away.

It's clear to the entire world where the problem lies. And since you are the ONLY person that keeps pointing at my errors and claim that those little tiny errors make my posts completely abracadabra to you, that's too bad for you.

Now back to the good folks here. And Pep back where he belongs: ban, mute and ignore.

/me ponders whether there is any point whatsoever in again suggesting that both sides in this increasingly puerile exchange of insults get back to the subject of the OP, and refrain from the mud slinging . . .

. . . Nope. No point at all . . .

:(

although I must admit to a selfish motivation - snip -

"Selfish"

1 : concerned excessively or exclusively with oneself : seeking or concentrating on one's own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others

Of course I do!

Pep (But I am not going to go out of my way to find the right keyboard symbol just for you - especially when most of the French/Belgians/French Canadians here don't bother either. ;) )

PS In addition to which it is general practice to omit accents for upper case letters.

Scared that I would quote the uncorrected post and make you look silly? ;)

Pep (I edit my posts when I spot errors in them all the time; I am usually faster to do so than others read them though. :p )

Should that "can" actually be "can't"?

"can" and "did" by now.
No error there.

Les gars! Arrete!

No accents on my keyboard either. I would rabbit on in dialect about potatoes sounding fat which equals how annoying this has become, but I digress.

My headache and I bid you bonne nuit

Yes, and I myself stated that the motivation itself was selfish.

Pep (Are you criticising the accuracy of that description of the motivation? Suggesting it was not selfish perhaps? )

Yes, the lack of a circumflex over the 'e' in "Arrete" is an obvious blinding error which I find completely unpalatable. :p

Pep (You could have reverted to very old French and put an 's' in, as the circumflex indicates. ;) )

Ferme la bouche. That, other than 'butter' is the first French I learned. Same with Irish, although I then learned the polite form of shut your mouth, which is Cunis.

Scylla, it is floggage over irrelevance ;) You would be better off learning obscure Belgian dialect than continuing this, and honest to god, in at least one region it centers around potato expressions. The excitement is insurmountable.

Bohn-ahn-nuit, as we say :)

I know forum posters enjoy reading Pep's posts, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why.

/me thinks people enjoy the drama...

I have to wonder what point he is trying to make by constantly showing he is superior in the English language. Maybe it is to fuel his ego, or perhaps to induce unhappiness in others, that resembles his own feelings. They say that bullies attack others to make themselves feel better. He has yet to realize that too much criticism reflects on him poorly and can give him a bad reputation.

Pep, learn subtlety and understanding and make an effort to be a decent human being, or crawl back under that rock. If the way others communicate bothers you..there is a nice red X in the corner of this window, that you can easily press.

'Ta guele!' was my introduction to the French not to be found in my schoolbook.

Pep (Potato expressions? Sounds fascinating! :D )

Why can you not just leave well enough alone. We all have the right to post, but we at least realize when we are going too far, unlike yourself.
