I get approached like this a Fair amount, The Men seem Intrequed when i explain I'm a lesbian, and quite Disapointed when they discover i'm not in the least interested in "Being converted". Women on the other hand are very odd. When they Find out i'm a Lesbian Half get nervous that I'm going to be Interested in Them, the other half are Insulted when they Find i am not. With me, Best Indicator is, If YOU have to Approach ME, it's because i'm NOT Interested. If I'm Interested in You,, Lol, See you in bed.

But seriously, my best friend and sweetie gets hit on all the time by escorts - sometimes soliciting him, sometimes just looking for a little somethin' somethin'. In both his avs. It's amazing. I guess ZZ Top was right. Every girl's crazy 'bout the sharp dressed man. lol. It's not limited to just women. |

It's pretty bleak when basic literacy is a big plus, but I suppose that most of what you can do with them involves the ability to write creatively, so that would be a big plus, wouldn't it? In real life, physical attributes determine who is the most attractive, in SL, mental attributes and the ability to communicate those mental abilities make that determination. Hmmm. /me is pretty stupid, so he might be in trouble either way. If done well, the big dumb gorilla look and routine can be amazingly successful, in RL or SL. |

I seem to only get these kind of propositions when I am clothes shopping or I am at a place trying to learn something new.(NCI etc....) Guys never seem to bother with me at a club or social like place. Go figure.

He he, I usually reach for the Scotch. Some guys can really charm the pants off you (Down, Figtree). I've had guys strike up conversations based on the most obscure of my profile interests, It impresses me, that they can read,(big plus), and bother to read the profile. Yes that definitely scores points with me, too -- read the profile, have a connection, etc. |

OP aside - it has to be a bizarre experience to be a woman in SL. I feel like I can go just about anywhere without being approached, other than the obvious places, by a woman looking for anything. It's a lot more like normal life - people are open to conversation about whatever, but they don't just approach and offer to jump in the sack if you are a man. At least that's my experience. I think it would be immensely annoying to be a woman if that's what you have to deal with all the time. It does get annoying for my wife, and for me also. LOL, sometimes if I am in the wrong mood I have been known to chase one of the idiots down and give them an ear full. One of the things I ask them is if they talk to women on the street in that manner. They always say no, and cannot explain why they do it here. It is not just restricted to "men" avatars, she has been hit on by "women" avatars also. You have to wonder if those "women" avatars are really guys but the approaches are so different. One of the few times I was hit on by a woman avatar, it was a request for sex while her RL husband watched over her shoulder, as foreplay for their RL sex. O.o |

I have found the cure to 99% of all inane bad come on lines from N00bs thinking SL is only for sex:
Just pass them a LM to Linden Village titled "FREE SEXXX PALACE" Almost every one handed such just clicks it and TPs out =^.^= The last 1% are dumb enough to ask "What's this?" *facepalms* ~Jessy _____________________

My SL guy was in a Japanese sim shopping when a noob came up to him with a box on her arm and asked if he could help her get what she had just bought. So he coached her thru it, and was just telling her how it was nice to delete the box when it's empty, when she interrupted him with: "Do you want sex now"?
He said, erm no, you don't have to have sex with people who help you, and she went poof. Now he uses the phrase as a general nonsequiter to indicate boredom with whatever's going on. Me: I don't like the texture on this wall. Him: Do you want sex now? Friend: I think my tier payment is messed up. Him: Do you want sex now? |

I've told a few that I was far more elegant and sexy in RL with my head/foot up my own ass than my avie is... They didn't always get it. Hmmmm... So I usually end up resorting to telling them how my feet don't look like clubs with my shoes off and that I can bend my arms without my elbows looking like an accordion. THAT works  |
