As I understand it, 1+1=2 in arithmetic but it equals something resembling (or close to) 2 in calculus.

AND I LOVE PIE....esp steak and kidney with lashings of tomato sauce...and apple pie, lemon meringue pie,custard pie,pumpkin pie..
/me grabs her carkeys,floors it to the nearest pie shop, saliva trail following down the highway, stuffs all the mentioned pies down her gob and promptly throws up.
Anyone still for pie?? :D

Ah, but as I understand binary, we agree :) And I agree with Lindel that for sufficiently large values of 1, 1 + 1 does indeed equal 3 :).
