From: someone By rule of thumb any traffic nubmers over 30k should be viewed with the thought of campers and gaming traffic. It wasnt always like this. There was a time when those numbers were real. To this day I can`t undersand the point of keeping avies running 24 hours a day for days and weeks. ( well you say its because of the real monies ) well for $0.10 us monies or 5 yen per day.<--- example ) Its laughable as the stabilty of the game itsself. Electric cost, wear and tear on a computer, internet provider cost etc etc etc. Just doesnt add up as cost effective. But there are 100 or 1000`s of people that don`t understand the real economics 5 or more avies 24 hours a day thinking they making real money without and cost to them. If people are soley running alts to make money 24 hours a day they are sadly mistaking. Real cost are never really cared about by some of these people because they don`t pay bills. They either live with famly or supported by family while in school. But there are those that believe they don`t have increases in cost resulting in usage for long periods of time. results.........if you believe your taking advantage of the system or cheating your way to winning you can`t never change these people mind sets. There is no such thing as a free lunch ...as they say Usagi

From: Cocoanut Koala Brazen in that I never would have dreamed the day would come when people would actually say that having their own zombie alts hidden on their land to increase their apparent popularity and position in search is not only perfectly moral and ethical, but is in fact THE indicator of a "real" businessperson. I can't help but conclude that people who believe this haven't really been around very long, in real life as well as in SL.
QFFT@@!! Can you imagine this hitting the 2005 general forums? You all thought *I* slung a little mud. Poor Karen and Phil woulda had to join the witness protection program.
