To the OP: if for whatever reason someone doesn't feel genuine or honest to you, then just make up an excuse and leave it be.

If the person is honest then no harm done, if they're dishonest or have some ulterior motive they didn't have the pleasure of getting you to waste your time on it.

The only thing you accomplished with the approach you did take is that if that person was genuine you were less than polite - if not outright offensive - from your recount of the conversation, and if they did have an ulterior motive you not only wasted time dealing with him/her but you let him/her know that they got under your skin enough to start a drama thread about it.

It smacks of histrionics, and he's insinuated the culprit is Brann Georgia. I would think someone with such superior intelligence would know that you can't win playing the accusation game on line. If you can't prove an accusation, then you only make yourself look like a post menopausal hysteric.

I prefer to voice my opinions in this forum rather than play headgames. I barely have enough time inworld to spend with the people I like, why would I waste time with this nonsense?

The folks that know me also know that there isn't a deceptive bone in my body. I lack the attention span to attempt any grandiose schemes - which is why I suck at RP and would probably get kicked out of the average Gor sim

Pep, pretty much every one in here has been knocked on their bottoms at one time or another. It hurts obviously. When it happens people tell you just to forget it and get on. For some strange reason they forget that we are real people with real feelings. I am not critizing anyone for saying that because there are many out there that can do exactly that. I am not one of them and it appears that neither are you. We don't all have thick skin and it is impossible to grow it. The only advise that I would be able to give you is to give it time. That is not easy either.

Oh, I don't want it around me either...I don't cause it, I don't buy into it. Indeed, I usually ridicule and laugh at it...much like I've been laughing today. From the whole "IM'd by someone not previously known to me remark" I've been chuckling. I get IM'd all the time by people not previously known to me, and the darned thing is, none of them are up to no good. Sure, 90% of the time its business related, but I still talk to them, and don't suspect them of cyber global terrorism or something.
