Apparently she makes around 300,000 L$ a month in SL!
She even gets summer holidays in France off the takings!
I'm in complete awe!
Can anyone tell me how she does it?

I don't know her. What does she do? Clothing designer? Builder? Animator? Escort? All are possible.

She'll buy it if you sell it to her for cheap. She is part of the scourge of mainland. She's an ad cutter. She buys lots for cheap and then puts ugly or offensive ads on it so as to grief the surrounding landowners into buying her out at extortionist rates. Apparently, she does this enough that she can go to France on it.

When I was new, I wandered into Dreamgirls looking for a dancing job. One of the girls there was talking about how this one chick made 70k L in a DAY. At that rate, 300k is a snap, even if it happens only once or twice a month.

Hahahaha...........I think a lot of us started out "dancing" when we first came to SL. I know I did............didn't make any killing. It did get me hooked on buying good skins though. I have way too many.............LOL.

Anyway, returning to the thread *grins* (Sorry Strife). Yeah, 16m plots serve no purpose. People can claim ads, but if you want an ad in an out of the way area, why not just rent permission to have a sign up on another's property in the area. 16m ad plots are either extortion, inexperiance, or stupidity (or any combination thereof).

I am personally pushing for the boycotting of all 16m parcel sales and the boycotting of any buisness that uses those 16m plots to place up ads. Let them eat tier for no return.

300,000 $L that's about $US 1048 which is about £520...not bad..if it takes you to the South of France though; then you're living in a tent. Having said that..I wouldn't turn my nose up at it.

It was INTENDED to prevent slander and forum trolls from being retarded, but some moderators took it to extremes, so now it is usually a set-in-stone thing of no names without consent. *Shrugs* You could always edit out the anme in your OP to be safe.

I think this thread is completly against the forum rules. First thing, naming names, besides I dont know that girl, but I dont think she will appreciate being called a hooker or a farm ad creator.

I wonder if the OP has second interests in posting this, I really dont think a person can survive on 300kL much less take vacations in France.I would understand if he had taken some more public character, lets say, anshe, or so many more, that are quickly becoming a legend in sl, but a person nobody heard of before this??? I seriously doubt he only wants to know how is she so successful, but I believe the only way of being successful is through hard work, not by posting in a forum.

I would rather close my account than make money the way she does. She lowers the value of every single person's experience in SL and makes our world and uglier place with her business practices. If that is success, I want to be a failure.

You cant get that consistantly. That is just something that happens to girls sometimes when they run into a guy with a lot of money to spend and not much sense how they spend it. It also includes the fact that the escort/dancer is willing to fleece the guy that bad. Usually by hinting shell be his girl freind or hinting she might be availible IRL...

Most ladies wont do the gold-digger thing. If they charge 2000L an hour they will take 10K in tips but they arent going to lie and hint and make promises to rob him blind.

Then again Dancers/Escorts are notorious for exagerating how much they make. Its a competitive business.

300kL a month would actually be FANTASTIC for my family, those who are thrifty and work their money would use that as a 2nd income easily. Saving some of that throughout the year indeed could be enough for a trip to france, partially depending on where she lived. Its...possible!

Now to try and learn enough to do it without having to ruin the visual aspects of SL...thats the hard part. Some do it! I wish I could really! *dreams of what I would actually do with 300KL cashed out each month...besides not live completely paycheck to paycheck*

L$300k isnt that much a month, I make well over that in a week. Not trying to "brag" or anything, but just saying, there are people out there making way more than L$300k/month. That`s kind of low end actually. However, any amount of profit from SL is a nice thing to have, whether $30usd or $300, I wouldn`t complain. If you`re not losing anything, any profit is success and something I wouldn`t turn away.

L$300k/month is a LOT of profit - it puts you in the top 0.08% of users active in the last month.

If you want realistic estimates about your finances, don't get them by comparing yourself to Bill Gates!

You`re right. I`m an idiot, last time I looked at the economy stats page I thought it said a few thousand people were making over $5K usd a month, but it turns out I glanced at the "total unique users" number, rather than the line above, which reads only 129 people. I didn`t realize it was so rare.

In that case, you are lucky if you`re making $1K usd here.
