Is there anyway to contact Linden Lab about this. My experience is that anyoneone talking suicide should be taken seriously. Linden should have information on this person and could contact the athorities. I know it could be a ruse but it also is a call for help. Her profile saying that she takes her life tomorrow is something that shouldn't be ignored.

I totally agree with you! And apparently she isnt answering IM's, as from last night anyway. Someone really needs to help Cassandra, this is a cry for help and should be taken seriously.
We all know people really do this, and this is not funny. A life is more precious than everyone making damn jokes about this sh%t.

i dont know i think SL should place a suicide hotline or ppl to talk with here too for these measures

Cuz the Adverage person coming in here that is sane can loose alot by comming in here with what some do to them ( or should have metal workers with in the client its self for ppl to report things such as this )

some ppl that ive chatted with come to sl in place of a shirk and that is not good !some are weak minded and nice souls

but as we know some are not and can take advantage of them ( as the saying goes Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.) and there a lot that do this with in sl

I was at a venue yesterday I believe it was, a newbie (or looked like one) came into the venue and asked how do I listen to music, 3 people responded very cheerfully to her and I sent her a PM explaining what she might need to do. She poofed away then returned and asked again why she cant listen to music, this time one or two people told her, but I made the inquirey to her, well just a minute ago you were told how to and I said I also sent you a PM explaining to you the process. I was not mean or anything with my dilect, her response to me was "CHILL I had to go my son was sick." Honestly, I really dont think its the people who have been around SL a while that is stuck up and snobbish, it is the perceptions of new people that they are...... (I did however suggest she wear panties with her sl skirt) I was going to send her a nice pair to, but.. well... pfft...

I spend a lot of time going to the live music venues and see many people over and over and yet never speak to them, perhaps most are afk or speaking in IM but not many chat, I see this in other places as well any group gathering, you get a friendly hello welcome to the venue (DJ, Dancers, clubs etc) tip the host, venue.. preformer.. and you never hear anything else from them........ The chatter is specific to two or three bar flies and they dont usually include outsiders, these are most often the 20ish crowd so, being an older woman in her 40's I seriously have no interest in that Highschool crap....

I am by nature an aloof person, prefering to be alone building more over than social diva, I am not good with small talk and I dont tend to chat many people up... But I am friendly and helpful and I do NOT laugh at people who make mistakes. (only myself)

Perhaps you miss the fact OP that emotions over the internet can not be judged by words alone, when you are speaking to a person in rl you see facial expressions body language etc and can make a more accurate judge of character...

Having said that, if I read your profile and it read no drama or SL & RL are seperate... I know that the chances of striking anything other than a casual aquantance with that person is not likely.. I can not seperate the two and I dont play act...... I have no use for drama but as a realist I know it will come...

Liars are every where in the world and SL is no different... Same with snobs and stuck up clique bound posers..... (but then again, we are are really.. posers I mean)

My advice is if you are here for social as you say, then perhaps look inside youself and see if you misjudged the situation...

I really do not know what your phobia means, I will google later.... But I know I am extreemly shy and this really doesn't help me with that at all.. I still get insecure and afraid of having to make idle small chat in world..... Strangly enough being a hairdresser in rl, I can talk to anyone about anything, but starting a conversation with someone who my hands are not on their head is awkward for me....

So, I wont lie to you and I am not a snob or in anyones clique so if you want to have conversations and someone to explore with PM me in world anytime..

but know I spend hours building and then more hours with my partner... (who I might add after a 6 month break on a past relationship I found the man I love with all my heart) and he comes first... always.

Don't have expectations on what you will get here and just enjoy yourself.... explore and get a language translator.... You will be shocked at how many people there are out there just like you........
