well if I was waiting in a que for some bread in a checkout I'd consider that a very longgggggg time ^^

if I was waiting for an answer from support . Id presumably think that was a mier blink of an eye ^^

so make up your own mind :D

I honestly have no idea what this answer means. You said that all viewers have had the ability to uncheck the sight of banlines for a very long time. I said my viewer does date back a very long time, explaining why I can't turn the sight of banlines off...and still want to move in SL.

My mind doesn't have to make up anything; I have the PC equipment I have, which can't really keep up with newer viewers, and I unfortunately do not have the funds to upgrade.

I've not checked, but it might be worth seeing if Henri Beauchamp has backported this functionality into the Cool Viewer version of 1.19; he does backport a lot of things. And if he hasn't, it would cost nothing to ask him so to do, I guess. http://sldev.free.fr/

You could try IMing him and explaining that he can have the same environment if he puts it all high in the sky. I just did that today. The person with the megascreen actually likes and photographs the nice landscapes in SL - and he's an RL lanscape gardner - so maybe my IM will work.
An update to that:
The IM worked and the megaprims are now gone. He'd put them up when there were some ugly business buildings nearby. A nice result :)

Really? If so you deserve a medal.

They were only there about a week or so, though. There is a recent building competition or *something* on the beach that makes things look a bit higgeldy piggeldy. Hmm (most of the prims were not facing that way - however I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the chompers.)

I have that version of Cool Viewer as well after Nicholaz stopped making his versions of updated viewers. I haven't used it in ages but that is a good idea. Thanks!
