I'm trying to quit smoking (2 days). It's all I can think about. I don't want food, I don't want conversation, I don't want to see another sunflower seed or toothpick. I just want some delicious poisonous smoke to fill my lungs.

This is so f**king hard. I hate everyone at the moment. Especially non-smokers. This will soon pass, I know. In about 5 minutes, I will start to laugh uncontrollably. Then cry.

Isabeau, it changes your life. Particularly if you live in a place like the US, where finding a place to smoke can take a huge bite out of your life. Stick with it!

You'll be able to climb mountains and surf without interruption in real life, just like in SL!

Isabeau, try drinking water. had a former co-worker who did that, washed the nicotine from her system, as she put it. she was able to quit in less than 2 weeks. of course she did switch jobs after that too...soooo.

I quit for a year before and started again like an idiot. it would have been five years for me if I kept up with it. You can never let your guard down unfortunatly. I just put all my trousers in the washing machine and I have nothing in the house to eat. I want a burger, but my partner won't go and get one for me.
