hawt!

They made a movie about you...

In Popke, across the sim boundary from my place in Leuran, there's a Boot Goddess femdom place.
When I saw them building a miniature city in part of it, I thought "?????"
Then I saw the tiny shrunken avatars running around under the booted ones.

The relative size is about that in that movie poster.

Gotta love SL :)

I thought you weren't there? :p :D

But yes, the rug did make things more comfy. That stone floor is cold, you know. (sorry this is a big pic)

lol I was thinking about it, but I dont think I'd be able to sleep with them in either. Oh well, I'll get used to it.

I got my own back this morning though, I got back after class and got to laugh at everyone's hangovers.

Sorry to hear about neighbor problems, Claire.

What you really need is an insanely loud alarm clock that plays the macarena. Then just "forget" to turn it off when you go to that early class. :D

Funny how that happens only when the neighbors party too loud...too late. *blinks innocently*

We jerboas iz sneaky little critters.

On second thought, the macarena is too easy on them.

Howdy folks!

Here's an update on my weekend plumbing adventure.

We had a house full of out-of-town guest so I really didn't want to mess with it myself. So I called a big well known plumbing company. That went great until the guy that came out gave me an estimate for $909. I asked if he was joking, he said "No", so I thanked him for the free estimate and told him to leave and never come back. This all happened about 5 pm on Sunday.

Monday I spent an hour shopping for supplies, $35 for supplies, another $25 on a couple of tools that I'll use again, and two hours in the attic. Problem solved.

I'm tempted to call the guy back and ask if I looked gullible enough to accept that estimate or if they just try to rip everyone off like that.

How many gallons of water did you have to wet vac up? When my hot water heater blew, I think I got somewhere around 200 gallons out of my kitchen. 3am trips to Wal Mart for a bigger wet vac are not fun. But I looked at the water on the floor and then at my little 5 gallon vac and said "No way in hell".

Tex, can you come over and have a look at our kitchen sink? It's well and truly backed up, and the Geek's up to his elbows in a software problem...

Hehe, I already have an insanely loud alarm clock, its one of those proper bell ones. i need scaring awake to be able to get out of bed on time lol.

It shakes itself around the bedside lol.
I usually switch it off when my heart calms out of heart attack mode, before it wakes my flate mates.

I suppose I could set it for after I leave, and warn my flatmate to stay at his girlfriend's place that night lol.

Ooooo ebil ideas! Thanks muchly :D

(I do also have a normal alarm clock that I can plug my MP3 into, and I have the macarena, the banana boat song, and also the Banana Splits theme for when I want to annoy people :D)

Ooo nice job Tex!

Thats a ridiculous mark up on the price! It's stuff like that which makes people hesitate to call anyone out - especially when they don't have a clue what's wrong to begin with.

You have a wet vac? Cool!

I make do with a mop and bucket and lots of towels - not fun :/

I was very lucky in that department, it was a very slow leak so no mop up involved.

I do have a bit of sheetrock on the ceiling that will be have repaired.

Sorry, Lindal, I don't do house calls. :D

The plus side to this is now I can go buy that new mountain bike I've had my eye on and not feel guilt about the cost.

Oh, I have found a lovely word: TELT.

It's not quite English; it's Old English, but I love it. It's like spelt (for spelled) or dreamt (for dreamed).

And you know what it means without my having to explain.
