I play an educational "trick" at dinner parties when there are feminists around. I ask everyone at the table to put both hands up in the air, then to get ready to do whatever I tell them to *immediately*. I then say "Left hand on table!" The men present just do it.

Pep (The women look like they are playing the piano with both hands; works every time!)
This may be a British thing. I'm pretty sure I'd get my left hand down as fast as anyone. When I was a taxi driver I noticed there are a lot of men *and* women who easily confuse left and tight.

From: Pserendipity Daniels
"Have to be"? LMAO! If you spent the rest of your life trying you wouldn't get an invite to the sort of dinner parties I attend.

Pep (Thank goodness. It would be so embarrassing watching you try to work out which knife, fork or spoon to use - or maybe your hands?)
I imagine I would enjoy having dinner with the real you, Pep. As I'm sure you know, few want to spend time with anyone who brags about the superior quality of his social life or throws around gratuitous insults.
Come to think of it matching wits with with those given to aggressive behavior was one of the things I enjoyed about being a bartender.

From: Rioko Bamaisin
Many years ago my aunt was drunk driving and killed a kid. This was probably like 40 years or more ago I'd say. The judge just sent her home with her four children as she was a widow. Amazing how much has changed since then. Eh just off topic tangent there.
Your poor aunt. Not that I'm excusing drunk driving, but I bet she has suffered plenty thinking about it over the years.

From: Pserendipity Daniels
Perhaps in the boondocks you don't understand: it is not the females' prerogative to decide whether they are ladies, but the men's assessment.

Pep (It must be those pinko liberal men you hang around with; we don't have quiche at our dinner parties either.)
Now this kind of obviously silly joking around is funny and not likely to antagonize anyone.

From: Pserendipity Daniels
Do you have holidays for all the Amendments as well?

Pep (I suppose you couldn't be expected to get it right first time.)
I don't think many of us even have a holiday today.

Thanks for the reminder.

*waves to Kaimi*

Elora's description of her breakfast sandwich sounded tasty, and I was commenting on the fact that Elora was able to use a neighbor's (with his permission) unsecured (i.e., there is no password required) wireless network to get to the internet. I'm always amazed to find that people do not put a password on their home wireless internet connection.

EDIT: LOL...I hadn't noticed the "88,888" post, and that's why you were saying "huh?" . Sheesh, I'm such a goof. :o :p

thing was, i knew i'd seen it before, and had looked at a lot of the fun innovations Rick Nielson has done throughout the years, so that was my first thought as well as where i'd headed off to obsessively look again. a minute later i remembered "Google is my friend" (um... sometimes...) and laughed at myself for not having done that to begin with. i like the fact it's completely playable, even if it would be a bit cumbersome and a back wrencher to boot...

Lol! I'd be so honored! But I sincerely hope and expect you out-live me by many years. I think I've been working on death by old age quite a bit longer than you.

Goodbye, dear Pep. Down the swirling waters with the rest of the shit never to be heard from again.

Nice idea but unfortunately I don't think it will happen. He really has nothing else in his life except for being an A-hole on SL Forums. Remember when he was on vacation a few weeks ago and he was in here posting every day? Pathetic.

Well I think this is just wonderful E.. but I'm sure the master photo critic will be along any minute to tell you how horrible it is. LOL.

Thanks E and everyone.

And I thought the same thing :p I lived with a photographer for many years, and I DO know a thing or two about the craft. He wouldn't have a nice thing to say even if I posted an unknown picture by Ansel Adams and tried to pass it off as my own :p

I'm not sure if you meant that for me Ama but they are doing pilot rolling restarts across the grid so only certain regions have the new server versions on it and the hangout is one place. Gridwide roll is scheduled for next week I think Some folks might be interested if they want to see if their scripts work or see if it's better than the crap we've been using for the last few months.
