Thanks E and everyone.

And I thought the same thing :p I lived with a photographer for many years, and I DO know a thing or two about the craft. He wouldn't have a nice thing to say even if I posted an unknown picture by Ansel Adams and tried to pass it off as my own :p
This from the woman who once described herself as "competant" (sic). :p

Ok - I've made it. 2000 posts before the forum fades into fond memory, and before my third rezday.

Question: should I go for 2001, or is that too much like an old, proprietary cleaner?

Folks - Scratch is my RL husband. If he contacts any of you, please do not talk to him about me.

Congratulations! I knew you'd make it! You'd better stop now though; at your age too much effort and excitement is probably bad for you. :D

And the RL marriage ended about 15 minutes ago over SL lovers. Enough said. It is cheating.

No worries, I won't be contacting anyone. No need.

In case anyone is interested, I noticed the Allana sim where the Forum Hangout is located has rolled over to the new version of the Second Life Server 1.30.0.13326

Josh did that happen before or after we were there last night? I hope to god it was after because 3 and I both were getting lots of lag.

Good morning everyone!

I hope today brings you all sunshine and merriment.

Here is a hint of my weekend:

From: someone

Magnified apples appear and disappear,
Stem end and blossom end,
And every fleck of russet showing clear.
My instep arch not only keeps the ache,
It keeps the pressure of a ladder-round.
I feel the ladder sway as the boughs bend.

Good morning, Threadies.

This breakfast looks familiar to me, but it also looks pretty tasty (to me), so enjoy. :)

Here is another driving story to while away the time to 88888.

When I first got my license, I was invited to a party that was only ten miles away, but to me it seemed SO SO far. I'd never driven so far by myself, over roads that went through dark woods.

I took some wrong turns, and when I realized this, I made an extremely abrupt, unwise, and illegal U-turn. The tires screeched and barely missed smacking the curb. I was a little shaken up.

Worst of all, at that same moment, a small blue light lit on the dash.

I had no idea what it meant - whether the car was about to explode, whether I should drive into a lake to cool it off, or what. I was scared to death. My only real option was to continue on the party.

Once I got there, I asked almost every guy in the place what the light could mean. No one had a clue. Finally I hit on one who asked, "Do you think you could have accidentally turned on your highbeams?"

.

I understand completely. I will most likely join you in SLU soon. Again :)

All the Lindens are gone and Millie does not have the power to shut this Pep show down. And he knows it. Once these boards are closed, where is going to go? SL Answers where the Lindens will moderate? Slapt.me where LS will moderate? SLU where Cristiano will moderate? That leaves Secondcitizen and we all know he would not last a day there. It is his last dieing gasp. The death rattle of his venomous and self-loathing loosing its places to sow hate.

It won't be long.

And he knows it.

Goodbye, dear Pep. Down the swirling waters with the rest of the shit never to be heard from again.

he could try 2L.informe.com. :p

Teen Andrew Dahl set an arcane world record today on the television show Live with Regis and Kelly. Starting before the show, Dahl started blowing up balloons with his left nostril, continuing for the next hour, hoping to beat the existing 213 balloon record.

On finishing, Guinness World Records judge Stuart Claxton announced Dahl had "literally blown the record away", blowing 308 balloons in the 60 minute span. All balloons had to be at least 8 inches wide when blown, and could only be blown with one nostril; Dahl chose his left nostril.

Um....I got nuthin' to add.

I'm not sure actually. The pilot rolls were supposed to happen yesterday morning, and my home sim is on the old server but I never got the "you are in a region with a different server" message when I went to the hangout when you guys were there. However when I logged back in at the hangout later that evening and then tp'd home, I got the message about different servers, so could have happened after everyone left.
