@Madhu -- HAPPY B-DAY. I had sadz that I had to miss the party. I cannot do large gatherings on this stupid laptop at all. Hell, I can barely even do SL - I crash way too often.
:(

I have the same problem Lil. The laptop just isn't made for large groups although mine seems to deal *ok* enough with SL in general, tho has it's moments. Last night, Ghosty walked in the door with a CPU he saw on the street (there is a small computer repair store down the block) so I suspect he's hoping it's in running condition and he can revamp it for me. I was on the verge of purchasing a new system and just using the laptop for when we travel, etc. so I'm willing to see what he can work out with this cast-away first :D

I guess being here has made us freebie chasers :p

Ummm.. I should rephrase that, I don't make stuff "IN" SL but "OUT" of SL. It's just common to make my title like that.

And to anyone who reads this, the "SL" segment of my storyline novel is 20 (seriously) books long. If you want to be in it, let me know, I finally determined that.

what narcissistic person wouldn't want to be? sure, throw me in. :p

Thank you, Ian. I'm trying my best to stay. Jackie

there are plenty of us who adamantly remain PG within SL. try to hang out with those folks, perhaps? :)

glad there's a glimmer of hope. i am only just getting to know you, and i wasn't done yet. :D

Glad to hear good news from Oryx and Malia, and sorry to hear sad news from Jackie.

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to decide about all this ratings hoo-haa; am I still PG?:

@ Bith: Cool pic! I love the outfit. :) Oooh you could wear it in a shot for the calendar, with Hitchcock's "The Birds" as the theme. :p

Oh, Lexxi, it's times like that which make SL so special. At the risk of raising possibly false hopes in the SLoap Opera, I may have a resolution to this situation in the works, but I'm not sure right now. Jackie

Bith...I LOVE both these sides of you! Your look in the first pic...is so exotic! And the second one is very "Roman Holiday". :)

Good morning Threadville. :)

Madhu's b-day party was hopping last night. Her shindigs are always a fun collection of eclectic people and music.

I hope everyone has a lovely day. Don't mind me...I'm just nibbling on a few tidbits here under the couch. :D

Darn , now I feel awful for not being there. I had turned off my messages before I left on vacation so I wouldn't keep getting emails on my cell phone at sea (much bucks!) and forgot to turn them on when I got home. I haven't even logged inworld yet. I know tomorrow is her birthday, because she's one of my Facebook friends but had no idea about the party :(

Other than a bit of Jewish guilt creeping in , it's a good morning in Threadtopia :)

It was a great gathering at Madhu's and she had spiffy party favors for everyone, too!

I always enjoy attending Madhu's "salons" since it's a wonderful opportunity to see people all in one place, AND listen to some darn good music!
