Mari, I may have missed it, but did the Cartel ever decide to do a float/parade entry?

Not that I've heard of. Would be great to see one, though!

@ Maureen - that breakfast is the super yum! I LOVE prosciutto.

@ 3Ring and the hotdog - LOL, I can just picture that now.

@ Mari - when's that parade again? And what's the route?

Morning threadies!

Last night Lexxi and I went on a blimp ride around Bay City, which was a lot of fun. I'm not sure she can post any pictures of it, but perhaps she has something suitable.

I've been looking at animation override bundles lately, and have picked up a few from 5ifth, Cybernetic, and Vista Animations. I've ruled out Lost Dog and FORM (IIRC) along the way. I'm looking for playful and feminine. Can anybody offer any suggestions on where else I can look? Thanks!

One of the best ways to see the city is by blimp, I think -- though a car allows for more chances to go into some of the stores.

Did you see the airport that Michael Linden seems to be making, to the north of Bay City - Docklands?

Honestly, we spent most of our time glitching through sim crossings (with various levels of success), or failing to get into one particular sim entirely. Sims were randomly flashing red on the minimap, and in one case, a sim disappeared and reappeared a few seconds later. If we had found the airport, we probably would have crashed into it. Oh the humanity.

Thanks! I'm still trying to figure out all the 3058 settings :p I swear it does everything but the dishes.

@ Oryx - LOVE LOVE LOVE that picture!

In general - I'm so behind what's going on here. Been running around a lot, not home much since we returned. Also trying to bump up the job hunt too so not leaving much time to "play". Got a call from my old boss today that our accountant has a client looking for a new bookkeeper/administrative assistant (his just left) so he's going to throw them my name. We'll see if anything comes of that or not, but all I know is I better get cracking on buying clothing. I was able to dress very casually in my old job, and I own nothing to interview in at all - NOTHING. (Although I do have a gorgeous black Coach briefcase style bag to carry ;) )

heh! Wait'll Sunday ;-)

It looks like work is being done by Michael Linden and Misty Mole on the Hau Koda/Bay City Info Hub. A vintage airport looking place. it does put a small crimp into some of my parade prep plans, but not a major trouble. Good to finally see that hub go in, too.
