You should extend to him a laurel, and hardy handshake as well.

No -a man does not cavort and gyrate and display himself - to me that is effeminate. Men just are and being men that is enough. Naked men are even better - but notice a man. He does not hide behind towels or drape himself in ways. He walks and this is enough.

My opinion of course and others will differ - thus the reason for men in strip clubs. Me - no thanks.

Mmmm, nice imagery, Amara. But here's a luscious alternative for you: Your man, stripped to the waist, performing kata. ;)

Since the new Star Trek Film opens tomorrow, we bring you this:

http://www.theonion.com/content/video/trekkies_bash_new_star_trek_film

It starts today, not tomorrow. (I figured it was a midnight thing, and therefore technically Friday, but I see lots of 7pm airings also. 7pm and Midnight). Heh, some of my theaters near me say "starts Friday", some have 7pm and midnight showings. And three have a whole range ( * 7:00pm * 7:35pm * 8:10pm * 8:45pm * 10:05pm * 10:40pm * 11:15pm * 11:50pm).

I dislike how the movie is titled "Star Trek". As if no other Star Trek movie was ever made.

(like how the fourth Fast and the Furious movie was titled: Fast and the Furious (which is the same title as the first movie).

Here in San Diego, we have a restaurant/bar that specializes/features New Zealand style food. Last summer I had friends visiting from New Zealand. They couldn't wait to get to that place. Was so funny.....seems you'd want to try something different, some of the sunny, southern Cali 'flava'? They looked at me with blank faces, totally not understanding what in the heck I was talking about and said 'Why, when we can get New Zealand fare'? lol I enjoyed what I had at that place, was a good meal.

The first one was called, "The Fast and the Furious." The fourth one is called, "Fast & Furious." See? Completely different!

LOL, Chris. :)

The bacon discussion has been an ongoing one since the early days of this thread!! (as well as in other threads...)

/327/85/252954/7.html#post1951516

From: Conan Godwin
(on 04-15-2008, 03:16 PM) I decided to try and make my own back bacon (I think it's what you call "canadian style" bacon in America - it's made from the loin of the pig; the back muscle). I cure my own streaky bacon (from the belly - I think that' what Americans think of as just normal bacon) at the moment - 7 days dry curing normally, so it's more like an Italian pancetta than an English/American style bacon, which would only be cured for 3 or 4 days.

But to make it worth while curing my own back bacon, I need a slicer.

Check this one out and tell me what you think of it;

Oh, and you'd need two sections of walled area btw; one labelled "US" and one labelled "THEM".

And so the discussion began. :)

lol, Conifer

Found this page on the web:

Here's Sony's prototype, called the "Goronta":

http://www.sony.net/Fun/SH/1-20/h5.html

On October 1, 1982, Sony launched the CDP-101. Ohga said, In demonstrations, Sony had positioned the disc vertically in the player, but it was actually easier to insert the disc horizontally. As a result, the CDP-101 was manufactured so that the disc spun on a horizontal plane. Other companies designed systems in which the disc was inserted vertically, in the same way as Sony's test model, the Goronta.

@ Tex: I think, if you check your messages from the Forum Cartel, you're hired. (lol..is that a huge cup of beer, or a tip jar? :p)

"Huge cup of beer, or a tip jar", while I like the idea of a big beer I thought it was obvious that it was a bucket. Every pool guy I've ever seen is always carrying around a bucket. I've never been a pool guy so I don't have any idea what they do with the bucket but they always seem to have one.

Ok, so as I'm typing I'm thinking about all the pool guys I've ever known. On second thought you are most likely correct, "beer or tips" is exactly what the bucket is for. :D

Tex, you're right about the bucket they always carried...I assumed it was pool chemicals or something like that :)

I was just in world and according to one of the groups, she was last in-world in April this year. So while slightly MIA and especially from here, she has been in-wrld.

And on that note....
