For prim clothing, you could 'drop' them, but not system clothing.

There is at least one store I know of where the entire outfits are prim because they also have the 'strip script' in them.

ahh, okay. I think I have accidentally dropped a few items at home (no clue if they were no copy or not), but I've not dropped anything anywhere else - therefore I really don't know anything about dropping objects other than it is something that can be done.

When Taking Off clothes, is there any technique that allows one to just place them on the floor instead of having them go back into inventory? Followup, how to put them back on if so?

I did start a thread once asking where to buy clothes in various part of undress -- a shirt that was buttoned, and then the same shirt unbuttoned and slightly opened, etc. I have a few such outfits now.

Of the two I recall, one went off to play WoW all the time, and the other went off the market. Though his strip audition was very odd. Started as a very old woman. Then a young woman. then a man. I have pictures of him as a man, or in man shape, with the skin of the young woman. I will now go wash my eyes out. heh
