Wait...what? Where am I headed? What's the party line I'm supposed to be spouting?

mine just rings like a landline telephone.

Mine has a coyote howl ringtone. Before that it was a bugling elk. When Rolf first heard the coyote ringtone, he sat down and howled himself till I answered it. Now he just runs around in excited circles.

This was clearly a test, which you failed. A real Luddite wouldn't be caught dead with a mobile phone. ;)
Come to think of it maybe I am a bit of a Luddite... I do have a cell phone but I hardly ever use it.

I am an OpenOffice user :) Its free, its simpler just having what you need rather than having the kitchen sink in there. The interface doesn't keep changing from version to version at the whim of MS. Oh and it reads the MS formats. Did I mention its free?
And it's Linux, ie well written software. I like it a lot.

Good morning, Threadies.

I believe someone(s) ordered chorizo, eggs and potatoes, in a wrap...

(the pepper wasn't part of the original order(s). It's a special add-on :p)

And here's some roasted potatoes, on their own...away from the chorizo. :D

OK - so I wake up lustily - what can I tell you :D

~~~~~
Aside from that - last night Steely and I toured the Tut exhibit. It was - amazing - yes, many things in SL are amazing - but this- See, all my life i ahve felt drawn to a few places in the world. Egypt being one of them. Lat night to walk thru Tut's tomb.... the way the dig was laid out, the narrative- I was stunned- I kept thinking, 'this is SL's heart'. It gave me the dream of a life time. The images were so powerful and well done. From an educational point of view- this is the level that SL should strive for and nothing but up from there. If that is what would be offered to kids by throwing open the gates- fine and dandy. I know this is the type of stuff I would want my kid to stroll thru - with mommy supervision.
Pix to follow- they are loading to the Bucket as we speak.
Happy Wednesday Threaples.
The guest room is always ready. :)
lol...I wasn't sure about the oysters in that pic...they look baked to me...but not being an oyster person, I'll rely on your assessment. :p But I thought it was amazing to find a pic with both...almost immediately! :D
Thanks much. A while back, the Showcase thing seemed to be more of a game of favorites and not all of the stuff was really very impressive, so I stopped looking there.
