Are there any clothes that you can take off and drop them on the floor? So they would be a rumpled pile of clothing?

(This is not for *me* by the way. It's for a friend.)

This is what I think.

I have a script for opening drapes. It takes an ordinary prim and it crumples it and moves it up.

Maybe a script could detach a piece of clothes and move it down. When it hits the floor it could crumple.

Can you script the 'dropping' of an item? If so, then something like the strip scripts that detach it from you and then modify it to crumple and drop it on the floor? Otherwise, I suppose you could coordinate the detaching of the article from yourself with the rezzing of a crumpled version of it onto the floor?

It has been implied that there is something unique about system clothing (non-prim) that causes scripts to not work, or at least that's what I thought I heard discussed elsewhere. You can put a script into any prim clothing but how would you control system clothing? The shy friend, Jackie.

You cannot put scripts in system clothing and they cannot be "dropped", hence all the discussion is really centered around prim clothing/objects.

Hiya Seven,

I have created a system that does what you describe. It has not been generally released yet, but can be found in the new sets of silks being produced by Angelwing Fashion, as the Advanced Strip Scripts. As previous posters note, it works on prim attachment clothing.

I'm happy to talk with you or your friend about this.

Cheers,

Fred
