Hmmm. I'm sure this will come across as somehow judgmental but it's not meant to be: on most fora I've participated in over the past, oh, let's just say 10 years for short, drunken posting was strongly discouraged. Mostly, I think, to protect the poster. I'm a bit distressed that this woman was encouraged to keep posting for as long as she did. I know that most everyone here is fond of her...but, as is well known: the internet is forever. What if her potential employer got a whiff of tonight? Okay, Bithy, you are being a spoil-sport. Why don't you just grab a beer and shut up? Golf is a stupid game. Speaking of games.....once again I present Baseball, explained to a Foreigner You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's on the side that's in goes out and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. Hmm...since we've been neglecting our yard a lot of unwanted grass has appeared... up here, the spot where i throw out birdseed is really growing some crazy grass type formation. no water though, so i t won't last long. _____________________

Yeah, just as soccer has insidiously taken over our parklands, recently a new park was dediated to Yankee great Phil Rizzuto, with 2 soccer fields and no baseball field  , cricket games are becoming an annoyingly common sight. no worries. i was goofing. and if my employer wants to stalk my internet use, have at it. i yam wut i yam. no regrets. don't you worry about me. i'm a big girl. up here, the spot where i throw out birdseed is really growing some crazy grass type formation. no water though, so i t won't last long. _____________________

employers snooping through your forum posts and being shocked at someone drinking alcohol... and people caring that they might... that sounds like a repressed society to me! Whenever I encounter those questions on job apps about my leisure activities, I leave them blank, it's none of their business. If it keeps me from getting hired, fine, it's probably someplace I wouldn't want to work anyway. _____________________

Brenda - Guess what I discovered. I went out back to attack the dandelions and noticed that a certain male in this household has not mowed back there yet. Well, if the grass (I use that term very very loosely) is allowed to get tall enough, it hides those dead spots caused by the dog pee.
