Thing is- i have land in Terminus where Talon Faire is and i have land where Steely and I live - so- if I tier down I have to give up some land- now, where we live there is a tiny chunk not connected to anything I could let go with out changing my life style, i.e. prim usage- that might help a bit.

If you don't own more land now than you did before, there is no reason you should have to tier down. There is a mistake somewhere (I am still wondering if tier is in the deleted group).

You are most likely stuck at the higher rate for this billing cycle, but you should be able to get this straightened out so you can go back to the tier level you were at before.

Well- this helped me to get my head together over it- it is no one's fault but my own and no one's responsibility so- if LL doesn tsay hey- we screwed up here is your tier back- then i wil try and seel the bit of land unattached where my home is- failing that i will abandon it- I only need about another 125 meters- if i read the thing right- i will ask LL tomorrow. In any case- I will fix it- losing Terminus is simply not an option- not after all this time.

RE your post before mine- I suppose it is a possibilit that someone had donated tier- though i dont know how or why since i never asked anyone - the people in the group were the Creative Arts peeps when FD needed a place to crash and he had Cel Edman of Sculpty Paint fame and other folks- none of these people were personal friends of mien so it is doubtful they wd have donated tier - i am scratching my head then at my mysterious benefactor.

The other thing you can do is rent a tiny amount of tier from the Land Ninjas (Elanthius Flagstaff and Skye Whitcroft). It will probably involve some more group shuffling though, but it will be much cheaper than tiering up to $75.

The party tonigth, which I wasn't able to get to, as expected. :(

And I didn't get a picture of what I was wearing, that I basically spent my art earnings on.Which I am not wearing now. And probably won't again.

Amara, for USD 40 with just one premium account you get the following allowance for a group:

8192sqm ($40) +
512sqm (free) +
10% of the above as a group bonus =

8192 +
512 +
870 = 9574sqm

When you bought the land from the Linden, you bought it as if you owned it, not the group and so the 10% bonus did not apply, so it needed to tier you up so that you could purchase it. You can actually purchase for group and had you done that I beleive you would have been fine.

Once you deed all your land to the group again and make sure all the tier in the group [Land L$] tab matches what you have placed in the group then you will be able to tier down again and in fact the system should automatically though you can do it manually via the web page for piece of mind.

The key thing is to check the group [Land L$] tab though in group info. You are probably over committing tier to the group for the land you have.

G'mornin an g'evening threadfolks!

A kinda quiet weekend here. I did a fair amount of building, had to go to a few meetings, and otherwise was sorta occupied.

Anyway.

The new Linden Memorial Park opened, so I did have to check that out. I'd already been doing some sneaky peeking courtesy of long draw distances. Still, this gave me a chance to really get in there.

For one, some stuff that I built is in there, which makes me happy. My old memorial garden from last year is there, apparently the sole survivor of last year's Day of Remembrance event. It seemed to be attracting quite a crowd.

there was another spot where you can get a candle, name it, and set it to float on the water. Very nice way to remember someone. dedicated a candle and said a few words over it before releasing it. The one hard part of being here for as long as I have, and knowing as many people as I do, is that you will end up facing loss. I had to deal with the RL loss of some of my family right around the same RL age of my SL avatar, so I guess it all fits together.

I did do some exploring though, checking out Dizzy Banjo's IO: Redux in Princeton Forrestal, and AM Radio's The Red and the Wild in IDIA Laboratories. Both very pretty. I remember IO from Burning Life, and was very glad to see it again, and AM's stuff is consistently cool. Here's a shot from IO, because there's already some images of The Red and the Wild on the thread.

Anyway, otherwise I had to do one of the Bay City Alliance meetings, so we could talk about the upcoming flea market and the big parade and party. I'm very much involved with the latter, which is gonna be huuuuge. Hope ya'll came come, or jes come to watch even.

I did get some time in to play with friends, including some unplanned skydiving with my brother Pygar an friend (he's a boy who is a friend, but he is not a boyfriend) Johnny.

I also got to participate a bit in the big fishing tournament at Cheep Cheep Landing on Livingtree, did some of the stops on the "Missing Bunnies"hunt, took part on a school pep rally on Friday, and even got a little time of jes sitting around watching TV.

Side note about that last piccie: Aside from the couch and chair, all the big bits were made by me. the house, the television, both tables, and both lamps are my own work -- including all the textures and the sculpt bases for the lamps.

An that's pretty much it. Not *that* exciting. Maybe if I'd taken photos of that horrible person bouncing me around near the Moose beach infohub -- 'cept I save those shots for the Abuse Reports. ;-)

Good morning over there, good afternoon over here, and good evening down there.

Seems like I missed some raucous parties over the weekend!

What'd ya get? What'd ya get? What'd ya get? :D

I just ordered parts to build a new system. I also dread having to do all the backups, reinstalling all the software, and tweaking Windows to be back the way I like it.

The new system will include: AMD Phenom II Quad-Core @ 3Ghz, 4 GB DDR2 RAM @ 1066, Nvidia GTX 275, and in another week or two, a Terrabyte hard drive. :D

I'm sticking with XP Pro till Windows 7 comes out. ;)
