The party last night well really well. We had a high of 27 people in the sim, with the usual migration in and out I would guess we had 35 people show up at one point or another. I saw a lot of new faces last night. That is always a wonderful thing to see.

We will be planning a party for May and June will see the Cartel's 2 year birthday party. It doesn't seem like it has been two years that a group of us gathered on Brenda's back porch and got this thing started.

Thanks to Feline for the amazing decor she put up last night and she also posted lots of pictures over on Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/groups/forumcartel/pool/

Looks like a fabulous time, saw Felines pix this morning. Ghosty and I totally forgot about it. Was about 10:45pm our time, and I suddenly looked at him, after a very long day of shopping and preparing for our upcoming vacation and said "I think there was a party tonight at the Hangout :( " Looked at my calendar, and sure enough there it was penciled in. Thought about logging in, but we were exhausted (we didn't even have the TV or stereo turned on at home, the quietness of nothing was so peaceful). So that was that.

Hopefully we'll remember the upcoming 2 year anniversary. That, is quite the milestone. I have such fond memories of those early days and a celebration absolutely is a necessity!

I couldn't stay long, either, and, I am so darn shy. Sigh. Need to socialize more. Plus am paranoid about my facelight, lol But it was set up lovely and looked like everyone was having a wonderful time. Was great to put 'faces to the names'.

I have a question; at the beginning of the month, someone posted a message in the Cartel group chat, about needing help with the tier for Cartel land; is it ok to ask, how much is it and who pays it? Is there a 'fund' that everyone chips in for, to establish or maintain a cushion for future? How does it work? If someone wanted to donate to the tier, who should it go to?

Treasure, which facelight are you wearing? If it's Ghostys and you're having trouble figuring out how to configure it let me know and I'll pass the message to him. He's not home now, but I'm sure he'll be happy to help you out when he returns later on :)

You can donate tier yourself. I don't remember if it is done through the group screen or your land tools.

Ok, "Donating Tier' is a concept I haven't gotten yet. I do know that Cartel land is mainland, my personal land is estate land, although, I do have a small parcel of mainland (1536 meters) next door to Allana on Whitesun, that I pay $8 USD a month for. But my major parcels are on estate land. I will look at the group tools, and my land tools as you suggest, but as of now I am really clueless on this. But you are saying, it needs to be done that way, right, by 'donating tier', not just throwing Lindens at somebody, lol.

Yes, it's just a matter of entering the amount you wish to donate and hitting a buutton.
