Don't you hate when you go into the lunchroom and someone steals your lunch. I had some lasagna and I have to eat a bag of chili cheese fritos. I am so mad!!!:(

Um, yeah, I'd hate that!

Good morning everyone! How was the gypsies party last night? I missed it. I was feeling too dizzy and icky to attend.

OMG Oryx, are you sure you don't have something to celebrate? Last week, strange cravings and now this...:D

ETA: Or did I miss an announcement?

We had that happening, for awhile. I think most larger workplaces go through that at some point. In our case, when the culprit was identified, I felt bad. She was stealing food because she was hungry. Was a temp worker, with a slew of kids, and well, she was just hungry. I will feed anybody, and wish she could have found the courage to just let somebody know she was hungry, instead of stealing food.

Years ago at another place of employment we found out Cookies and Gin was doing that. She would come to work smelling cookies and gin. Hence the nickname when we were referencing her. Then C&G took it to a whole different level. She told everyone that her house caught on fire. The co-workers bought in food, clothing etc.. I overheard the address she was telling them and since the address wasn't far from my home, I drove by there to see the damage. The house was fully intact.

The house being intact doesn't mean a whole lot. I had a fire in a bedroom once, the fumes from the burning mattress made the whole house unlivable for many weeks while things were cleaned up and replaced. Basically every thing cloth in the house had to be thrown away. The only thing on the outside of the house you could see was a broken window.

I'm sorry I should clarify, she told everyone it was destroyed.

Just one brief note- the 'what's the matter with me' thread has me wanting to pound my head on the desk. I oscilate between wanting to smack myself, the OP, other posters- argh! And like a car wreck, I can't look away - tsk

The thing that bugs me is that no matter how many times someone says - hey do something- this miasma of eternal victim just envelops her and she is woe is me again. Geesh- I am all for being helpful- but damn make an effort - you cannot wait for anyone to do anything FOR you-

Exactly! At some point it turns from actually seeking advice to "woe is me". That's when IMHO it turns pathetic. :(

I also am repulsed by the woe is me, and totally do NOT understand the anathema to being alone! I just don't get it! I LOVE being alone! lol It's totally selfish, and doing whatever I want to do, and can be all about me, me, me! I long for alone, wait for it! So when I see someone whining about it, I am just lost, totally confused about what the problem may be!

I have been in sl for nearly 2 years and never even rezzed a prim until this weekend. I never liked the freebie houses my landlord always uses so I made my own. So far I have only used 34 prims. :D

I still have more decorating and landscaping to do. /me does a happy dance. :D

/me waves to the Threadies..

Hope everyone had a great weekend! The cat enclosure is up, and the kitties had a great time this weekend. Exploring, playing, eating grass.... Totally made me smile watching them. I, on the other hand, had an attack of the lazies, so no pics to share yet.

I'm glad the party was such a success! Sorry Cx and I didn't make it, we both were having the blahs on Sunday. Back at work today though, and what a week i have in front of me... Work, meetings, errands. Ughh!

I don't even think I'll be able to spend any time in SL other than an hour on Tuesday. :(

this must be my woe is me post, lol.

I am going to take this course of action. Each time I read it, it only irritates me more.

Yeah it's gotten dowright soapy now. We have enough insanity right here, why look outside the Thread (claiming my own little piece of the crazy here)

*sounds smug*

I got to have lunch with Lindal today! :D (We had to reschedule from Friday.)

We had such a great time, yacking about RL and SL...until I received a phone call from my boss regarding a crisis back at the office...and I had to cut short our lunch. :(

But to make up for it, we're going to try to get together next week. :)

And I had really yummy crabcakes for lunch, too! :p

Yay on the kitty enclosure! I am sure they love it...and you're surely enjoying seeing them cavort. :)

Sorry you and CX could not make it last night...it would have right up your alley (heheh.."alley-Allie" heheh) with all the wonderful costumes many people were wearing. :)

I hope the week goes well for you....
