Your account page on the SL website will tell you what land you have available. The last section, "Land Holdings", "Available for purchase:" section.

The group land tab screen will not have that information.

Also get some Avenno oatmeal soaks they are sold anywhere that sells drugs except on the streets.

You just open and pour and bath water and soak. It really helps with that an other skin issues. :)

oh ugh! i would never sit in a bathtub. yuck!

I wouldn't either. Don't enjoy it at all. You have to clean them before and after, they are too small to be comfortable in, and I get antsy just laying there. I can handle them in spas (for all of maybe 10 minutes) because someone else is taking care of all the dirty work, but at home - meh, forget it. I'll take a relaxing shower over a soak any day.

Hi, Lexxi...When I went into the Cartel group land tab it showed me that I have 46M available to donate, which is exactly the number that I had left over when I deeded my 512M to my "land holding" group. Sjackb Northman (alt) is in the same situation so I don't think I'm in any danger of getting hit for tier. Thanks! Jackie.

I have a question about how to stop getting email notifications sent to me for posts here. Since I'm leaving on vacation and I found out it's going to cost and arm and a leg to deal with the cell phone, I've been trying to stop everything from coming to my phone unless it's regular mail which could be important (nope, this Forum is NOT coming with me!).

Anyway, I turned off the email notifications like a week ago, but for some reason, I keep getting them sent to my email. Any idea why this is happening? Is there some other option I'm neglecting to edit?

It says zero. It's charging me for exactly what I have. But I can change that, right, by simply 'upping' my monthly charges.....? That should create some availability, if I am understanding this right.

Group members donate tier to the group to cover the tier required for the land at the Hangout. If you want to donate, pull up the Group info and go to the Land tab - enter in the amount of tier that you wish to donate. This amount does count towards your total tier usage and only your first 512m of tier comes with the premium account. If you have more questions, give me a holler.

You can upgrade your tier if you are determined to contribute. If so, you should consider the tier rental suggestion made earlier, and do some maths to see which way is cheaper for you.

Not being inworld at the moment I can't give exact numbers. But the group members donate excess tier to the group to allow it to hold the land. We do try to keep a cushion of excess tier, so that if someone needs to pull their contribution it won't leave us in a lurch. You can donate in the group info screen, land tab. (just like Lexxie said)

When the hangout was first being built, we did take L$ donations in order to buy the land. I do frown upon money donations now, I had an incident over the summer where a person thought that a money donation entitled them to special rights. Needless to say, I paid them back their money and bid them a fond farewell.

Edit: Just as an aside, all contributions are voluntary. If you want to give, that is great. But I don't want any one to feel pressure to donate.

Treasure, if the 1536 that you own on the mainland is actually owned by a group, then you really only have to donate 1397 to the group to cover the tier -- cuz groups get a 10% bonus (1397 + 139 = 1536) and this would leave you with 139 tier that you could donate or use.

If you wish to donate it to the group, see my previous post or give me a yell.

Treasure - I am pretty sure that we do have a decent cushion right now, so don't feel like you need to up your monthly charges just to donate to the group.

Oh no, I don't feel pressure at all. I am the one who asked the question on how it works. I wish it wasn't so damn complicated but do understand your point on why it is, because you've had issues in the past with cash/lindens. So I think I have an understanding of it now, thanks.
