Once I found the right doctor, and he found the right medication (Topamax daily, 100 mg and Imitrex as needed), while it took a while to work it all out, the difference was astonishing in how many headaches I got, and the severity of them. I used to be down for the count at times for days on end. Now, when I get one (which is rare) I can usually manage to get through the day without having to go to bed, thanks to the medication. And, if it is one of those kinds when bed is a must? They don't last as long as they used to. A huge difference. /me LOVES my doctor

i just take vicodin for mine. knocks it down a little, but doesn't relieve them completely. it's very exhausting by end of day 2. *sigh*

But really, I wear capri pants nearly all summer - shorts are just not my friend  ) I can wear them, if they're either 'very short' or long like capri pants. Something about being cut off in mid-thigh that is just so wrong, for me, but I can go to either extreme and look ok. Not being the Daisy Dukes type, I usually go with capri length too, which my husband thinks look stupid. He asks me why I'm wearing pants that have obviously shrunk, not long and not short. Comfort first! |
