If any of you guys bank with Bank of America this may interest you. It's more of a Public Service Announcement than a polotical rant, but I heard this last night and it infuriated me. I do a lot of business with BoA, and I was beside myself., I had to pull over while driving. In essence, the AG of New York, Andrew Cuoma has put out a report essentially stating that BoA were forced to take on Merrill Lynch by Federal Reserve and Treasury Officials, under threat of it's management being removed. Basically, "If you won't do it, we'll fins someone who will." This outrageous. Just another example of the Governemnt interfering with probably the most vital industry this country has, as they have been doing for years and destroying it. This merger has brought BoA to the brink of ruin. I'm sorry for the bringdown, but it's my monety these sons of bitches are pissing away, and I'm tired of it. http://www.oag.state.ny.us/media_center/2009/apr/apr23a_09.htmlI'm going to take Boomer for a walk now.

Having spent a year once in Teesdale (nothing but sheep and dams at that time) I think this is brilliant. Those dogs are wonderful; I bet they loved doing this. From: Pserendipity Daniels It seems as if you think too well of *most* posters . . .
Pep ( . . . and give *most* the benefit of the doubt) I don't hand out anything I can't afford to lose to anyone. But I have rarely regretted assuming the best of others. From: Maureen Boccaccio Oryx, I know what you mean. Enterprise made me NUTS. How many more minutes til that movie's out??? It was no Deep Space 9. I knew Brenda was joking but I wasn't. And Mo, those Blintzes look yummy. From: Maureen Boccaccio Oh, and yayayayay! I get to have lunch with Lindal!!! Lucky both of you! I know you'll have a wonderful time.

The town of Eston (in Canada) constructed an 8′ high statue of their favorite prairie resident from Tyndalstone. The World's Biggest Gopher weighs approximately 3 000lbs and was made in honor of their annual Gopher Derby.

From: Maureen Boccaccio For you, Brenda: Thank you Mo. I feel better now. Amazing what a nice dog walk, and email to your Congressman will do for your spirits. It is positively gorgeous in The Garden State Today! @Kaimi: DS9 is my hands down favorite of the Trek spinoffs.

The World's Biggest Grasshopper can be found in Wilkie and measures 18′x6′ as a tribute to the people of the town. All of the above taken from "Life and Travel in the Canadian Prairies" http://traveltheprairies.wordpress.com/.

From: spike Hydraconis still there but we know why now so hopefully in a few weeks no more headaches.... What great news! I'm so glad for you. From: Elora Lunasea That's great news Spike. I also suffer from severe headaches - migraines. Once I found the right doctor, and he found the right medication (Topamax daily, 100 mg and Imitrex as needed), while it took a while to work it all out, the difference was astonishing in how many headaches I got, and the severity of them. I used to be down for the count at times for days on end. Now, when I get one (which is rare) I can usually manage to get through the day without having to go to bed, thanks to the medication. And, if it is one of those kinds when bed is a must? They don't last as long as they used to. A huge difference. /me LOVES my doctor Oh how I wish that worked for me. But apparently I don't have that kind of headache. I'm so glad it does work for you, and for several of my other friends as well. From: 3Ring Binder i just take vicodin for mine. knocks it down a little, but doesn't relieve them completely. it's very exhausting by end of day 2. *sigh* Vicodin worked for my headaches a little bit for a little while but it made me feel so lousy everywhere else that it was hardly worth it. I tried five years with no drugs at all but now I have morphine, Dilaudid, Valium, Phenegran, and Ambien that I take in various combinations when the pain gets too bad, but the side affects of all of them are awful and of course they don't work at all if you take them too often... I still have hopes that the headaches will fade on their own as I get older, as they did with my grandmother.
