Bee Gee's are better than ABBA? HAH! It wasn't the Bee Gee's who wrote "Dancing Queen"

But ABBA never had a best selling Soundtrack Album either :p

Not all.

But how I'll ever get past Sylar from that gawd-awful show as Spock, I don't know.

I would hope YOU of all people wouldn't . That would just shatter everything.

I don't know most of the cast of the new movie. I know Simon Pegg from his movies, and John Cho from Harold and Kumar, but I'm haven't seen the work of any of the rest of the crew, I don't think. I know what the guys playing Kirk and Spock have done, but have never seen the shows myself.

It was nice of you to stick up for me, Kaimi and Love.

but!

I was wrong to post it. It was offensive, I admit it. I knew when I posted it.

I'm sorry. I deleted my post and took the picture off my flickr account.

I apologize.

.

I really admire you and Love for this, for the apology and the admission. Just now seeing it. This was really big of you. I didn't actually think you meant it that way, but if you did, your honesty in saying so is so refreshing, and admitting it was the wrong thing to do. Really nice.

Regardless of the actors, I THINK I'm looking forward to it. I just cringe when they try to go back and rewrite Star Trek canon. Like in the Enterprise series and the "discoveries" of the Ferengi and the Borg, which were rightfully Picard's discoveries. Oh and don't even get me started on the cloaking devices and Romulans, which were Kirk's. Sigh. I hope the writers don't screw up that badly with this new movie.

I took my post down because leaving it would have diminished Seven's post.

Here, have a video about sheep herding:

Heh, OK, I'll edit my post too then, since it was in much worse taste than yours was.

Nonetheless, two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
Apparently I missed something?

It didn't seem to me that she was slandering all Welshmen, or that she was implying that any particular Welshman's shortcomings were due to his being Welsh. Even though I have no doubt that there has been suppression of you guys I have never observed (or felt) any prejudice against Welsh people in my life and I'm giving 7 the benefit of the doubt in guessing that she isn't in favor of subjagating or mocking them.
It seems as if you think too well of *most* posters . . .

Pep ( . . . and give *most* the benefit of the doubt)

Maybe the AR helped.

There is no need to apologise to me, Seven, although I acknowledge the grace with which you have made the concession.

I actually thought your attempt at a LOLPep was quite illuminating and amusing, particularly in comparison with those crass LOLCATs. But then, my sense of humour is obviously different from most in the forums.

I am also surprised when people appear to understand there might be a difference between the English and the Welsh, something that 3Ring seems to have failed to grasp.

Pep (Please feel free to criticise *me* in any way you like in this thread, but remember that tarring others with the same brush might be considered inappropriate)

I tried to make a LOLCAT myself but I got stuck at the first stage!

Good luck with that! I remember one July day where it was over 100 degrees in NYC and our's broke in the office and we had to stay the whole day  The next day, we came in wearing shorts, however, as it wasn't going to be fixed yet.

Anyhoo - good morning and Happy Friday to everyone! It's a gorgeous day here in Joisey too. Heading into the big City today, have a few errands to run there (p/u my eyeglasses which were broken, some banking - might even meet Ghosty for lunch if time permits).

Hey, I bought a new woman-bag yesterday! I'm not going to post all it's features (haha, it has none other than lilac lining and a place to put a cell phone) just posting picture of it in all it's glory since most of you girls will know exactly what it is. I did, however, get it on deep discount, 50% off. It is last season's model, but that doesn't matter to me since I collect these bags and had wanted this one - good "summer" item, goes with everything.
