With all this stuff going on about an 'adult continent' and so forth, will the hangout on Allana be affected in any way?
Unless it moves, it'll be ARd off the map within a week . . .

Pep ( . . . in my opinion)

:( Why do they insist on taking the fun out of everything?

It's what corporate types do. They learned it from the politicians. Ultimately it's the fault of lawyers.

Assuming you mean you boob gun, I think it's OK. There's nothing sexual about them. They happen to be bouncing around and lactating, but that could happen anywhere!

There have been nakie parties? Huh. If I understand it, indoor mature activity in groups will be OK on mature land, so long as it's not publicly visible. Time for add rezzable one way shutters to the hangout? But really, how often does the hangout go mature in content? It can't be that often. (Or my luck sucks.)

In 1985 the family and I moved to Aberdeen Scotland. I absolutely loved the two years we lived there. The biggest disappointment of the whole experience was that after arriving and listening to the radio and visiting a few night clubs I had a harsh realization. No one had told them that disco was dead!

the beegees were waaaay better than abba.
they played multiple genres and wrote hits for both themselves and even other bands.
kiss or abba may have enjoyed more popularity, but the beegees had all the real talent.

Agreed. ABBA put out some great records, magnificently produced, but that's just it. They were more a product of their prodicers than anything out. The Bee Gees were accomplished artists long before ABBA came along and long after they left the scene.

So racial discrimination is OK then . . .

Pep ( . . . now you have a new President?)
As I understand it, TALKING about it is alright in the privacy of one's own home or thoughts, or clubhouse. You can even promote it in public places, if you get the proper permits (the same permits anyone would need to congregate and or speak in a public place) and if you don't actually incite riot or violence. Most private places (such as this forum) will have their own rules against offensiveness. And we have finally gotten to a place over here where most racists understand that most places they will be shunned by decent folks if they talk about it.

Actually discriminating against anyone in any meaningful way on the basis of ethnicity is against the law. ie refusing to invite anyone from some group to your private birthday party would be legal but refusing to hire someone because they belonged to that group would not.

I laughed so hard when I saw this the first time at a Woody Allen marathon at a drive-in c. 1973. Of course I was pretty stoned.

I was thinking more of the extreme violence part. Shooting people with huge lactating boobs. Those things are so huge I think they can push in no-push zones.

There have been times when people have turned up naked (like me), I do not know of a specific party, except for stripping parties.

Well, anytime I'm there it might suddenly descend to adult stuff. Like the other day when I started rezzing my Scarlet letter hunt prizes. At least one of them was a huge penis. Made up of smaller penii. I'm scared now. I can't get that horrible image out of my mind. :(

Oh, and there was another penis. It wasn't made up of penii, but it was also huge. And even though I rezzed it a good distance from Garrett, it immediately slammed back and into Garrett.

There was also the time when Chris and Feline were dancing and I changed clothing. But forgot that I was replacing a shirt with a shirt. I thought I had a jacket replacing a shirt (if different layers, you do not get blurry breasts). So I ended up standing there for seemingly forever topless waiting for the shirt to rezz. I was actually embarrased and turned around.

That has always been my response when people talk about curtailing speech and demonstration.Often times the Yahoos out there are their own downfall. The more they talk, the worse they come off and people realize how insignificant they are.

If only the Yahoo's in DC would get the hint.

Hey all - I've talked to Spike and he is doing much better. He'll probably start popping in here a bit more to say Hi and maybe even a bit more inworld to chat with folks. Thought I would give you all an update now though.

So are you going to shun 7 because she posted an image relating to a rhyme about a Welshman being a thief, specifically referring to Pep, who as you know is Welsh?

But they did write "Chain Reaction" - and you *can* dance to that.
